I took my daughter to see Goel only because she was the on-call doctor as our regular pediatrician was on vacation. She was unfriendly and not what I would want in a pediatrician. She came in, nodded, and sat at the computer for 5 mins, randomly asking questions with little or no eye contact. My daughter cried when Goel popped open the garbage can lid and banged it against the window sill. It was a loud bang and even startled me, so my 5-month old cried. She banged the lid a few times after washing her hands. She then mocked my daughter for crying. She proceeded to mock and poke fun of my daughter, "Just because you're small, you think people can't make fun of you?" What??? I remained cordial because I wanted decent treatment for my daughter. For the most part, I don't think she diagnosed confidently without a lot of my guidance. Furthermore, I had to ask a lot of questions regarding treatment, i.e.: expected results, side effects, duration of Rx use, etc., as she was not proactive in offering information. I cannot recommend her and would never take my daughter to see her again. She's not sympathetic nor warm, so I question why she works with children.
