Friendly place! Really nice staff

I couldn’t be more grateful for this place. I went in for help with weight loss. I weighed in at 164. At 5’3”, I was just a lb short of what would be considered obese. I expressed my goals with the doctor who made me feel like it was possible for me to get to where I wanted. It wasn’t easy. But a few months of guidance and hard work, and I am 128! Coming here was the best decision I’ve made in a very long time. If you’re ready to commit to a better you, then I strongly suggest scheduling your appointment now. I was a skeptic, but I’m glad I decided to take a chance anyway. I love my body more than I ever have.

Wonderful consultation! I honestly could not believe how nice the women at the front desk were! I'm absolutely terrible with names, and everyone wears a mask so I'm not sure where to give special kudos at the moment lol. Just know the staff is outstanding! Dr. Gherman is very knowledgeable and takes the time to ask all the right questions. She really molds your plan around *you! I didn't feel like I was just getting a generic "one-size-fits-all" approach. Excited for my next visit! I'll provide updates as time goes on!

I saw Dr. Gherman not as her patient but as a requirement for a disability claim. Her one time office visit was paid for by the insurance company. The office is a bottom floor, disability friendly large suite with several exam rooms and ample parking, including 4 EV charging spots for both J1772 and Tesla chargers, though all spots were full. NEED MORE EV PARKING! I arrived 30 minutes early and saw several people in the lobby picking up their injectable medications at the front desk. This was in late summer 2019. Watching the front desk, I could see they handled customers quickly and normally had their medication ready when they arrived. Upon meeting Dr. Gherman, I was very impressed she had actually reviewed and was familiar with the details in the most recent 500+ pages of my medical record created in the past 2 years. She did an exam and was quickly able to notice the issues in my spine - which other one visit disability MDs have missed during rushed exams. Since the insurance only had the past 2 years sent to her office, she reviewed my life history orally with me to get a complete picture. Dr. Gherman is very much a no nonsense MD. She presents the facts objectively and engages in conversation if you don't understand the implications of deficiencies in vitamins, hormones, and exercise. Upon completion of the exam, I asked her opinion of where my lab results should be. It never hurts to get a second opinion, as each MD carries with them not only their education, but their life's experiences practicing on multiple patients. She gave me advice on what I should do, which I took to my excellent primary care MD at Kaiser. He agreed with what she said, and began hormone replacement therapy, carefully monitored with labs to titrate the dosage. He has also suggested a line of oral vitamins he likes to elevate my B levels, as opposed to injections Dr. Gherman preferred. Again, every MD has their preferences, based on experience. As I was not her patient, I did not expect any medical advice, but now, 2 months after making changes she recommended, I genuinely feel better acting on what she pointed out. I appreciate Dr. Gherman's serious regard for a one time patient, her good advice, and the fact she is right to the point. If you want a MD who is willing to glance over your weight problem or lab results, look elsewhere - but if you want a MD who will openly tell you what is right/wrong and outline a program to make things better, she's the one. If you're reading Mr. Garrett's 1-star review below, you might click on his profile and read the other 117 MD reviews he's written and decide how to weight his input, as it indicates either there are no good MDs in the world, or maybe the patient is a hypochondriac who's been banned from most every medical office/hospital in California & Hawaii. I hope he never gets injured, as the ERs also seem far below his expectations.

Dr. Gherman and her staff are the the best. I have gotten Botox and fillers by her for the past few years and I always have great results. Dr. Gherman is conservative with her treatments and the results are natural and beautiful.

Great staff and Very Knowledgeable. I think though you really need to have very defined fitness and health goals, which I mean is that you need to take more charge of your health and wellness. No prescription or shot will do all the work for you, so I would recommend to get optimum results, make time to work out, eat right and track your food and calorie intake via MYFITNESSPAL or something like that, so you can see what your eating and what you need to cut out, which will help you hit your health goals. It only takes 5 minutes a day to do and has helped me in addition to the help I've gotten from the Clinic :)

I found this establishment through Groupon for vitamin B-12 injections. When I first arrived at the office I was a little nervous but I met with Gladys who is very knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel very relaxed and at ease. It took a couple of injections to feel the results of the vitamin B-12 but was pleasantly surprised with the results. I had a total of 12 with my coupon and after I completed I ended up buying another 6. They had a special (which they do every month for various services ) for vitamin D injections - $20 each or a pack of 6 for $100. I immediately felt the results from the vitamin D injections and I'm so grateful I found this establishment ~ I feel SO MUCH BETTER! My hair has stopped falling out and I was told I look at least 10 years younger. I am going for a consultation for fillers today and will keep you updated!
