I NEVER write reviews EVER. That being said if I could give negative stars or a zero I would. I thought because these are scary times due to COVID and all my rheumatologist would be more understanding but I couldn't have been more wrong. During our 2ND video visit she actually snapped at me for being "too anxious" about my health went off on a rant upset that I had emailed her FIVE times within a week. Complaining that one email was to long and that I'm not her only patient. Refusing to read it! I had a Covid test done was at home sick AND yes I was full of anxiety. I do have anxiety issues and she called me out on it. All this time not being helpful about my lupus and fibromyalgia. Actually saying now that she believes there's nothing wrong w me. After all these years on medication she prescribed. Brushing off all my symptoms due to my autoimmunity. She's horrible and unprofessional I'm actively seeking a new doctor. I don't feel comfortable asking her anything related to my health at all. She made it clear I'm an annoyance and unwelcome. I pay to much to be treated like this. Unfortunately I'm waiting on test results and have no one to explain to me the results, I have a question about my return to work letter that she wrote which seemed half assed. And I cannot even ask her nor do I dare. Why so she can snap again? And make me feel bad about my anxiety and other medical issues I've got. It's an unfortunate situation especially when u need a caring and understanding health provider during these crazy times.
Referred by two primary care physicians, several years apart Her snarky condescending attitude was apparent both times. She actually smirked. At the very start she told me I didn’t have lupus (I already knew that and that wasn’t why I came to her). She ordered a bunch of blood tests as if she were placating a hypochondriac. She never called or left message (MyHealthOnline) with test results. My primary care physician was aware of her bedside manner. Why refer me then?
Dr. Kuzis is a good doctor, but I felt that some of my problems that I felt needed more attention, she concluded were related to basic osteoarthritis. She didn't consider my joint flare ups too serious. As ! continued to face new joint issues and have seen other doctors, I now know that my sense of seriousness was the case. Examples: Calcification in one of my joints was a condition not related to arthritis, but Tumoral Calcinosis. My 2 trigger fingers need attention, not dismissal.
Dr. Kuzis, has been my Rheumatologist, for almost ten years now. She and her nurse, Cheryl, has help me immensely, dealing with my Psoriatic Arthritis. I don't know what I would do without them. Very caring, and kind, everytime I see them. One of the best Doctor, I have ever had in my life.Kevin Reid
Definitely not the best rheumatologist I've been treated by in my 13 years of dealing with RA. My issue with her is that she is not proactive at all with me. She listens to what I have to say but offers no solutions. Whenever I have a flare-up, or an issue that I've had before, I have to suggest what other doctors have done for it. Ironically, she wants me to come in and see her regularly. If I am not having symptoms, I really do not see the point in this - it's not like she is going to point me to something new in the literature or make any helpful suggestion for management and prevention of further damage. It's clear she just wants to fulfill her quota of appointments for PAMF.... And she will hold my prescription refills hostage if I don't come in.I am actively researching alternatives.
i am so luck in having doctor Kuzis for my care shes funny, smart, kind and very professional.
Went to her from other rheumy in the office. She is great. Took all the time to listen to me, ask follow up questions and create a dialogue. I was able to get a complete picture of the problem with a Better plan going forward. Will definitely be seeing her again as regular rhuemy.
I was referred to Dr. Kuzis by my primary physician Dr. Jeff Tao (an excellant physician also), She diagnosed the growth on my lung and has referred me to a cardio-thorasic surgeon. During the diagonosis procedure, when I was told it could be a few days to hear from her after the MRI and CT scans, it was actually within hours that I was getting a personal call from her, one of those calls was at 7:30pm. I do not know of many Dr. who are that dedicated to work so late and have such a caring attitude to call patients after normal business hours....her diagnosis was RIGHT ON ! I cannot say enough about how satisfied and appreciative that I was able to be seen by Dr. Susana Kuzis.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
