Daniel Jo's Online Review Report Card

I'm 73, medically trained, born into a medical family my pop was a pillar of the community. I know what it means to be a rock solid physician. Daniel Jo is a total bust. Total. For Rheumatology do not go anywhere near this guy. If I followed him and his "non" care I could be in deep dodo.

I've been around top docs starting with my father since birth. I trained under people who changed the face of psychiatry prior to getting a degree in medicine. Things have gotten BAD in american medicine. This guy is bottom of the barrell.

My husband has been in Dr. Jo's care over the past year, after hospitalization where a number of doctors were debating how to treat him properly. Dr. Jo diagnosed him and recommended appropriate treatment. After discharge from the hospital he continued to monitor and follow up the treatment and the recovery process. Furthermore, Dr. Jo consideration all other health issues and provided an integrated treatment. We are privileged to receive treatment from an excellent, smart doctor, with great knowledge and very dedicated to his patients. We have a doctor who is professional, kind, caring and available when needed. We are grateful for all his care for my husband.

I am an acupuncturist. I recently accompanied my friend to see Dr. Jo. He　is also my patient. He has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for about six years. After taking medication and acupuncture treatment, his condition was under control and gradually improving. Because of the epidemic, treatment was interrupted for more than ten months. Recently, he suddenly felt severe pain in his back, and it was getting worse day by day. Although I think the pain may not be simply because of rheumatoid arthritis, it was difficult to find the real cause. He was quickly referred to Dr. Jo by his family doctor. Dr. Jo made a very detailed inquiry and did a careful joint examination. He was also very patient and answered many questions from him and me. He concluded that the pain was probably not rheumatoid arthritis but had another cause. Dr. Jo ordered very specific blood tests and a CT scan on the same day. After seeing the exam reports, Dr. Jo promptly referred him to a very experienced oncologist. After that, my friend also consulted with Dr. Jo via video, and Dr. Jo provided detailed answers to the questions and provided very professional and effective advice. Both my friend and I are very grateful for Dr. Jo's very patient and professional services. I think Dr. Jo is very trustworthy and recommended.

My husband has been in and out of El Camino Hospital with some unknown auto immune disease over the past 2 months. Dr Jo has been his Rheumatologist, and even when my husband was sent to a rehab facility, and now home, Dr. Jo has been checking up on him. I can't say enough good things about him. He's been kind, compassionate and patient with both Keith and I.

Dr. Jo was inadequate as a health care provider. He served as my grandmother’s hospitalist and was given the task of assisting her throughout her time at the El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA. He was unable to order an MRI in a timely matter. Dr. Jo forgot to sign the discharge papers leading to my family and I waiting 2 and a half hours for him to do so, so we are able to leave. The issue we had the most dealing with the fact that he forgot to prescribe my grandmothers pain medication after her angioplasty. He came in to check on her and said she was good to go home and heal, but he was going to send a pain medication order to our pharmacy. He did not do so. We went through a difficult process to be able to contact him. When we were able to get in contact with him, Dr. Jo simply replied that he forgot to sent the order in. My grandmother was in pain for 2 days. My family and I would not recommend Dr. Jo.
