Denise Johnson's Online Review Report Card

I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. I was referred to her and had to wait OVER 3 months for an appointment (Pre-Covid). She did not even come in and exam me, had her PA come in instead but still charged me as if I saw her. When I called and objected to the outrageous bill, I was told that they it was incorrect and that they would lower the price but instead the bill remained the same and just put the PA's name on my bill. I would go see a specialist who takes the time to see their patient

Dr. Johnson Miller came highly recommended and her credentials tell the story of a highly successful surgeon. Dr Johnson Miller and every person on her staff who guided me through this ordeal were knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate. They made appointments for my tests, walked me through each step and answered my questions in a timely manner. Dr Johnson Miller explained the surgery and gave me all of the time I needed to understand. I highly recommend Dr Johnson Miller and her staff.

Dr Johnson-Miller is competent, compassionate & intelligent. She has performed several surgeries on me & all have been successful. Follow-up concern is exceptional. She & her staff have eased the angst of going thru breast surgery & I will be forever grateful.

Dr. Johnson Miller is my breast surgeon since 2014. She preformed a double mastectomy. I still have check-ups with her. From 2014 to now I am never disappointed on the professionalism of staff. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Johnson Miller ask detailed questions and listens to all concerns.

2006 Dr. Johnson Miller, a Stanford faculty member at the time, diagnosed my breast cancer when the radiology center said my mammogram was normal. Dr. Johnson Miller took one look at my scan and recognized an abnormality and immediately followed up a biopsy. The biopsy showed aggressive breast cancer. Dr. Johnson Miller put together a team of oncologist that included Dr. Ellie Guardino who gave me chemotherapy before surgery. This protocol was not standard procedure at this time. I had a very good response to chemo and I am now alive to tell the story. I tell this story every chance I get as my cancer experience with Dr. Miller Johnson and the team she assembled left me feeling safe and confident that I was in good hands. That meant everything to me and my family. I am 14 years cancer free and looking forward to celebrating another holiday season with my family.

Listen to other reviews I didn’t ... she’s rude condescending and demeaning .... find a good Dr. Who cares because she doesn’t ... doesn’t answer your questions doesn’t even Come in to see you after your surgery... makes you wait 9 days for results and too lazy to remove stitches so you end up on antibiotics with an infection...she tells you to have your husband snip them out ...yes sounds incredible right? She Made so many rude Comments to me and I finally confronted her ... no one at a Breast center should be treated this way.. totally unacceptable

Bad experience with this Dr. Her condescending rude attitude is demeaning ...a Dr in this position should be kind.... just today my oncologist told me that 3 other patients of his (just in one week ) complained and said same ...steer clear and heed all the other reviews I made the mistake not to

I can't thank this doctor and the department staff enough for their top-notch skills, prodigious knowledge, and genuine care. From the very first phone call, they guided me through my difficult situation. Every question was answered, every detail discussed, and any concerns were laid to rest regarding many aspects (not only medical but personal aspects in life that become affected from a diagnosis) with patience, concern, support, encouragement, care, kindness, and professionalism. This continued through the entire process to recovery. Dr. Johnson Miller, PA, MA, and everyone in the department staff at Hope Tower made me feel completely safe and secure while in their exceptional care.

Dr. Denise Johnson-Miller has always had an amazing bedside manner with me, consistently maintaining a very compassionate demeanor when speaking about breast cancer, etc. I could not have hoped for a better breast surgeon! I recommend her to everyone that I know.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to her because I had a bloody discharge coming from breast. Three years later, after a lumpectomy, many mammograms, ultrasounds,MRI’s and MRI’s with contrast, I still have the problem. The only procedures that were done were recommended by the radiologist. She never looked beyond that. Recently I was subjected to an excruciatingly painful biopsy in the exam room by her PA.This should have been done with the lumpectomy as the problem was there.
