I think she initially has good intentions, but she tends to get defensive when a dissenting opinion is offered. Every treatment has side effects - when we decided against a test she recommended, we were chastised and talked down to. Although it could stem from a place of responsibility, the extent to which she is visibly upset makes me think she has control issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis. She is extremely punctual She gets me to the right specialists. Her staff always follow up to see that I have made an appointment with the specialist. She is direct and to the point.

Dr. Lewis is terse, she doesn't communicate, you have to drag information out of her. She is abrupt and not personable at all. Perhaps she should have continued on the zoology path.

Nice job, but she is hesitant to do referals to outside specialist.

Dr. Lewis was condensending and refused to spend anytime explaining the diagnosis or reason for diagnosis. I would not recommend her to anyone. She would be better suited for research than patient care.
