Eugene Kim's Online Review Report Card

I visited the doctor because of chronic nasal issues. Dr. Kim attentively listened to all my concerns and did an examination. He answered all my questions and provided all needed details on the next steps.

Did not look at the reviews prior to seeing this Dr. Had been referred to him as he was the first available. Right from the second he entered the room he was acting rude and arrogant. He asked me what I am here to be seen for. As soon as I began explaining, he cut me off saying he has seen the chart. Therefore, I explained I am following up on the healing from procedure that is noted on the chart. Then he proceeds to say with arrogant and rude demeanor that he needs more context. Which I was trying to provide while he initially cut me off. The whole tone of his conversation was no different, very strange, rude behavior. Should be trained how to communicate with patients. I would not recommend. Will never visit again. Treated you like a parent treats kid on a timeout. Read previous reviews and can agree about the negative behavior. Finally the whole visit was just 2-3 minutes long, looked into both ears and that was it. Sutter Health billed 400 something dollars for that visit. Nothing done, just simple look in the ear. How is this possible? I will dispute the charge as I fell this is overcharging.

I agree with other reviewers. He basically denied that I have ear issue when my pcp confirmed few days back. He then said my symptoms are imaginary. I wonder why pamf still have him on panel. We have to wait for days and weeks in order to get an appointment. If it turns out to be of no help for us, it just makes it doubly hard for patients.

Dr Kim was incredible. Today we had surgery for tubes for our 2 yr old son. As you can imagine we were all very nervous. In preparation Dr Kim allowed time for questions, he also promptly connected with me post surgery and followed up after discharge. Focussed, professional and caring. Thank you Dr Kim for taking care of my son and for making what could have been a scary experience very smooth. Highly recommend!

Addressed my ear concern somewhat (don’t fly if your congested or deal with it) but did not address my ongoing sinus issues. When asking about it he just cut me off. After waiting a month for the appointment he quickly looked in my ears but did no exam of my nose or sinuses. Complete waste of time after such a long wait for an appointment.

Dr. Kim is super professional and friendly. He took the fish bone in my throat out within seconds! Before seeing him, I went to an urgent care, they could not even see the fish bone, not to mention to take it out.

honestly, Dr Kim was a sharp and speedy doctor for simple problems that you have with your ear. No he's not a therapist, and it doesn't seem like he listens well but if you want someone to just get a simple job done professionally he is capable. unfortunately they weren't able to solve my problem of blocked ear due to pressure, just because the hospital doesn't have the best technology.

This guy is a complete a**holeJust dismissed my tinnitus with "nothing you can do about it", did not get into any details about the condition or what I've been going through. His entire time in the room was less than 2 min.He's arrogant and has an attitude. I wish I would have read the reviews before going to him.You've been warned... Stay away!

Dr. Kim not only misdiagosed my left ear with ear drum retracted severely and hearing loss but he is also very arrogant by not listening to my description of my symptoms and rebuffing all my suspicions of other possibilities. In the end, I had enough sufferings I had to find another ENT doctor in the same department. The other doctor treated me and confirmed my suspicions. With a simple operation, my life is back to normal now. Thumbs down to Dr. Kim and kudos to Dr. X (I wish I could mention his name here).
