Outstanding care, kindness & humanity

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Komlos. I had tremendous anxiety before my procedure. All the medical stuff was amazing and comforting and I was given relaxant and sedation prior to the local anesthesia. I didn't feel anything. The procedure was done in 15 min. While I saw a reviewer complaining about the wait time and I respect his experience, I also waited for 2h prior to my scheduled time. But we are dealing with human lives here, complications and delays happen. There are multiple reasons for delay to ensure each patient is safe. I rather wait and have a surgeon who has a great reputation in the field than be in time, like on the chicken slaughter automated process. I read multiple publication on Pubs, ncbi, Mayo Clinic and most doctors would have to take multiple biopsies to get the right amount of tissue. Dr. Komlos is a wizard. He does it perfectly the first time so patients don't need to go through second or third biopsies. I am grateful that I was in Dr. Komlos hands.

I had a delicate, slightly scary procedure almost a year ago- the last of many following a very serious car accident. Of all the doctors I dealt with post-accident, Dr Komlos stood out as the one who took the time to assuage any concerns, answer all of my questions, and the only one who looked at my well being holistically, asking how I felt. Oddly, he was the only doctor who seemed to actually care about my general well being. He also did a great job technically and got back to me very promptly with the (good) results.

This doctor is amazing I'm writing this review 10 years after my surgery. I have had no problems with the surgery. I highly recommend Fabio Komlos for any vascular surgery.

My 87 year-old mother fell and fractured her pelvic bone in 5 different places. Dr Komlos performed cement injections for her fractures and it worked like a miracle. The procedure greatly reduced my mother's pain and accelerated the healing process by weeks. Besides having amazing surgical skills, he's also a kind and caring physician. We were very lucky to have him as our doctor.

Dr. Komlos drained a large lower leg hematoma without any pain. He was kind, careful, and professional. I would gladly go to him for any future intervention radiology services.

He was 2 hours late for my procedure. I spent one hour waiting, draped, on the table in the cath lab. I could not see out of the drapes, I found out he had arrived when he jabbed me in the chest without warning. He did not introduce himself before the procedure, did not speak to my wife in the waiting room after the procedure, and never came to see me post op.

Dr Komlos is an outstanding physician. He treated me for various biopsies and a post operative complication. He is outstanding!
