It is so hard to talk to the staff on the phone. I have tried 7 times today to check my appointment time with them and I have been put on hold every time for 10 minutes without any one talking to me.

After extensive back surgery, my father asked Dr. Lai to aid in removal of his Foley catheter one week ago. Dr. Lai was uninterested in doing so, and gave justification that the risk of an infection was offset by the discomfort of removing and potentially reinserting catheter. Now my father has a UTI which is non-trivial in his state (84yo with limited mobility in weakened post-surgical state.) To top it off, instead of seeing him for their appointment yesterday, Dr Lai referred him to the ER. Bravo.

Saw Dr. Lai as a referral for consultation on procedures for BPH. He simply laid out the four options with the pros and cons , drew a small diagram and left me to consider which I will do! That was easy! He knows what he's doing and knows what's involved and side effects. I will return for surgery. Thanks. Recommend, yes! Absolutely!

I wen to see Dr. Lai for urination problem twice. During the first time, his attitude was rude as he wanted to finished the session within a couple of minutes and move to the next patient. In the second visit, he did not even show up and had his assistant to see us without any help. Shame on Dr. Lai and this clinic.

Had Rezum procedure with Dr Lai. I Highly recommend him and his staff. They are kind and responsive to my pre and post procedure questions and I felt very well taken care of. Now, four weeks after the procedure I am completely off of the flomax and very happy.

Had a kidney stone surgically removed by Dr Lai. Excellent care. Wish I had followed his advise to drink 1.5 liters of water daily. Ten years later here I go again for the same issue. I would not think of going elsewhere.

had the biopsy … not bad …. Uncomfortable but no pain …. Nurse betty was confident, reassuring and put me at ease …… no pain during the entire procedure ….. thank you dr. lai & nurse betty and the male nurse who gave me the anti- biotic shot …..

Men, please be very careful when choosing Dr. Frank Lai. He does not communicate well and you may end up getting a needless irreversible surgery that you will regret for the rest of your life.

He is Docter so bad experience and voice not nice. He didn’t worry about Patient . He looks busy when he told to me😰. He think I need to meet Docter psychologist

I was recently treated by Dr. Lai for kidney stone, all I can say is. I couldn't have asked for a better care. Dr. lai and his team at el Camino urology was extremely helpful, caring, organized and well experienced. They made the whole procedure and process look simple
