Jennifer Wang's Online Review Report Card

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've been here 3 or 4 times and the staff is always super friendly. They were very clear with me on what was covered by insurance, what wasn't, and what would be the best value for me. I will keep going back.

Do not go here!!!! This practice’s primary goal is to get as much money from your visit as they can. They do not place patient care a priority. The front staff, particularly the female that works and answers calls is extremely rude and does not return calls. She also misleads and misinforms you the cost of care for your visit. They also charge money to send over patient notes to another physician. This is not a common practice and should not charge any money. I recommend staying away from them.

Great doctor. My whole family sees Dr. Wang. She is a MD not an OD and we go to her for all kinds of eye issues not just exams. Kids love her. She is thorough, kind and patient. Nice selection of frames in Menlo office. Highly recommend

Dr. Wong is the very best at what she does. I had my eyes lifted in 2012 and in 2020 they still look as good as then. Can't go wrong with this Dr.

I've only written one review in my life, but am extremely disappointed with their service. I am at exceptionally high risk for Covid and because I was having an issue with my eyes I risked going in for an exam at the beginning of November. At that point the numbers in Santa Clara County were relatively low, but now the numbers are soaring. While I was at the appointment it made sense to get new glasses as well.They will not mail me my glasses, insisting I go in to pick them up! I offered to assume the cost should they break, I would pay for the insurance, and the answer was still no. They suggested I have a family member come in to get them. What good would that do? If the family member comes down with Covid they would give it to me. Seriously, my old glasses are falling apart and I need these, I've paid for them, agreed to pay for insurance, and the office still will not accommodate me. In a pandemic I would think they could bend the normal rules...

I saw Jennifer Wang yesterday for my annual eye exam. I think she and her staff are awesome. she was quite thorough in her exam and did an excellent job articulating options/tradeoffs regarding my choices of glasses/contacts. I I found her to be very competent not only in diagnosing a potential eye condition that prior MD's missed but also discovering a mistake that prior MD made on my Rx.Also want to add that the office staff and the person in the optical area who helped me were also great to deal with.

I've been going to Dr. Wang for a number of years. I've always found her knowledgable, professional, and thorough. She recently identified a problem with one eye that I'm not sure others in her position would have. I can certainly recommend her for her competence and her professional manner.

This is my first negative yelp ever.On June 29th 2018. Dr. Jennifer P. Wang of M.D & Associates in Mountain View did a ptosis repair on me. She screwed it up so bad that no surgeons in Bay Area I spoke to wanted to do a revision surgery on me. Dr. Jennifer P. Wang never took any before or after the 6/29/18 surgery pictures of me...a practice I wonder if it is a standard....Crying myself to sleep at night for almost six months, luckily my close friend Tom , also a medical professional, located Dr. Charles Lee of Plastic surgeon in Beverly Hill to me. After several audio conferences and in person discussion with Dr. Charles Lee, he finally performed the revision on me at his surgical room in LA on December 5th 2018. The result was amazing back then, now even better. Overall, I am grateful I look normal again because of a real deal surgeon like Dr. Charles Lee. Looking back , going forward, I will totally check yelp review for event like this. Dr. Jennifer P. Wang's 3 stars and Dr. Lee's almost 5 stars.A picture is worth a thousand words. I had a very unsatisfied experience with Dr. Wang today. I told her all my eyes symptoms, but she insisted that I have allergy on my eyes without checking any further procedures even though I have been telling her I never have had allergy before. I even couldn't explain more while she was showing impatient and upset, then Dr. Wang prescribed a costly eye drop which is $83. Dr. Wang told me to use just for one week, then come back to follow up ( which means I need to pay another $70 for office visit). The whole visit only took less than 10 minutes. After I complained about the unpleasant visit, Dr. Wang called me back and told me she reduces the price of eye drop to $20. What a money grubbing! I really doubt her profession and honesty. I simply told her I don't take the eye drop and I don't visit her again.
