Dr Tran is one of the best general surgeons out there. He genuinely cares about all of his patients and it shows with his attention to precision and skill as well as his personable demeanor. He did my surgery and everything went quickly and smoothly. My scars are minimal and he made sure I was well prepared for what to expect post operatively regarding pain and incisional care. He followed up with me the following day and after a week to make sure I was on the right track with healing. I have known many personal friends that have had surgery with him and everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say and great outcomes with their surgeries. I highly recommend Dr Tran for any general surgery.

Dr. Tran is great. I had a surgery with him in El Camino Hospital. He answered all my follow-up questions and addressed the issues I have in a timely fashion either by message, phone or in-person visit. He went extra mile to remind me to follow up with other non-surgery related specialists that are recommended based on my before-surgery CT scan results. What's more, he also have his team to help me look up in-network specialists after knowing I have difficulty in finding a specialist due to the limited choices of my insurance to make sure I get all the care I need.

I went in for an allegedly minor outpatient surgery and ended up hospitalized for 11 days and needing 4 blood transfusions after this doctor caused extreme internal bleeding that could have killed me. It is over 8 years later and I still have PTSD from the experience. He called me once after the fact (I saw his name on caller ID) and hung up when I answered my business line; later that day he called again when I was with my own patient and could not pick up the call and left a pathetic message about how he knew I had a bad time. I would never go back to him or PAMF again as their "jury of his peers" non-handling of my complaint is obvious as he still works there. Truly outrageous and unforgivable.

Dr. Tran is great. He answered all my questions, without making me feel rushed, about an unusual case of Appendicitis. On and off pain for over two years. Super friendly, positive person too. Laparoscopic Appendectomy went smoothly, back home the same moring. Highly recommended!
