It does not surprise me Dr Shih has such high ratings. In all my 52 years, he is the best experience I ever had apart from being so fast and efficient. Sweet staff, very accommodating with my disability and having to be treated from a gurney. Dr. Shih and staff made it possible! Best receptionist and assistant ever! You will be perfectly satisfied!

I had dental problems for many years, until more than one year ago I am fortunate to have found Dr. Shih's practice from online search. It was his admiring education background and practice experience attracted me. He was able to fix my three teeth in the order of priority within a short period time, then the pandemic hit, so even after his excellent root canal was done, I couldn't finish the crown from another great dentist on the last of the three. Now I am traveling back from another state just to have him fixing my teeth again because I trust his work. He gave excellent follow up suggestion for that old tooth, and fixed my new 4th problem tooth with the same speed and perfection! The front desk has been very caring and helpful too. Thanks so much for giving me the peace of mind!

Dr. Shih is very skilled and professional. He was so patient helping me figure out which teeth were causing me so much pain and did a great job fixing them. He follows up afterwards and you can tell he really cares about his patients. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shih is the Root Canal King and I don’t say that lightly. He actually performs root canals in about ½ hour. If you’ve ever had a root canal you know that is absolute magic. He is a great guy as well – personable, kind and gentle. If you need a root canal or any other endodontic procedure done, look no further and book an appointment. He has given me two root canals and I have a third scheduled. I seriously could not be happier.

Coming from someone who hates going to the dentist, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Shih. I was referred to him for an emergency root canal after experiencing weeks of pain. I was apprehensive going in because I have had terrible experiences with other dentists prior. Dr. Shih got me in quickly, and his gentle manner put me at ease immediately. Perhaps what impressed me the most was his speed and accuracy in performing the procedure. It was quick, easy and essentially painless. This guy definitely knows what he is doing. I would not hesitate in recommending him, especially for those who have an aversion to dentists.

I had a root canal today. He was very knowledgeable, competent and skilled (my root canal he did in 2005 has had no problems). I especially appreciate how well he communicated, both about the procedure and during the procedure. He was sensitive to my concerns and I felt very safe and well cared for. Unfortunately another tooth also needs a root canal, but I'm very glad he's there to take care of it for me. I highly recommend Dr. Shih.

My front tooth was grey and starting to die, so I needed a root canal. I was super nervous because the tooth is so tiny, but Dr. Shih reassured me that everything would be fine and I would be on my way in no time. He numbed my tooth and I was out of the office in about 40 minutes. After the initial shot, it was painless! He worked very well with his assistant Genia. And the front office was extremely pleasant to deal with! Thumbs up! If you ever end up needing a root canal, I would highly recommend Dr. Shih!!

I was having some pain and I called to get an appointment with Dr Shih and they were able to get me in the very next day! Very accommodating! Went in the next day and they were able to do my root canal on that same day. Dr Shih is awesome! I would recommend anyone who needs a root canal to have it done by him! I went for three emergency procedures and Dr. Shih was great. He was very efficient and I felt no pain. I have not had the best experience with dentists before Dr. Shih; now I am less scared to go to the dentist and my teeth are much healthier. His practice is very professional and everybody is very helpful and respectful, answering concerns I have over the phone and e-mail. I am very happy to be his patient and will recommend him if any of my friends are looking for an efficient and reliable endodontist, especially painless root canals!
