List of Melanie A Atmadja's Reviews
We've been seeing Dr. Atmadja for 4 years and she is the pediatrician for both of my kids. I love her. She's great with my boys. She always explains to them what she is doing and why and asks their permission (once they are old enough to give it). We took my son to an urgent care while on a trip and when we got back she checked the report, double checking what the other doctor prescribed and caught that he has been given the wrong dosage of medicine and promptly adjusted it. No detail gets past her. She's amazing.
Let me first start off by saying I am baffled by these bad reviews. My daughter is 6 months old and Dr. Atmadja has been such an amazing Pediatrician! I have followed all of her recommendations and they have all been game changers. She told me to sleep train my baby at night and during the day. Her methods worked and she is sleeping 10-12 hrs a day and taking 3-4 naps. I come with a list of questions and she answers all of them thoroughly. Every time I message her with questions she responds right away. My baby had low weight and she was instrumental in getting her weight back up. I can't recommend her enough! She is a wonderful Pediatrician!
She hardly met with my daughter inspite fo being her pediatrician for several years as she is never available after school hours and takes long breaks. Also her support team is not competent as they constantly miss out on immunization reminders and don't even bother to check if needed immunizations have been completed. I thought that she would be good give that she us Stanford educated but has very poor patient management skills
Dr Atmadja is very smart, speaks quickly which I prefer, gives guidance and always remembers the kids details.
I would not recommend her at all. We went to see her on various occasion and each time I noticed the same poor bedside manners (speaking too fast, no direct eye to eye contact, discounting concerns, etc.). I did have a lot of questions and she seemed annoyed. My mom came for the last visit and noticed these same issues and told me to immediately change doctors as said “Are you serious, she is a doctor, a pediatrician doctor?” Needless to say, she needs to improve on her communication with pa
Please do NOT waste your time with this doctor. Too many things are wrong with this doctor. The list goes on and on. She is: rush impatient rude basically have no interest in listening and understanding our concerns. STAY AWAY!!!!! he worst doctor I have ever met in my life.
I found it very interesting that different people had extremely different opinions about her. We had great experience with her. She is a fast talker but as long as the parents are prepared for the visit, and ask questions, she always gave very professional suggestions. Our kid loves her and we are really happy we chose her.
I strongly disagree with the negative comments. I can only recommend this doctor. She is very nice to our baby and our baby likes her a lot. All of her recommendations were very helpful.
Very dissapointed. Gave wrong informarion all the way.
She is well-trained, efficient, friendly, offers a differential diagnosis, takes responsibility for advice given, and made appropriate referrals in the opinion of my family. The office functions well and we found all staff professional. It was an excellent experience and I would not be put off by a few negative reviews.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
