MIng Liu's Online Review Report Card

My wife is a breast cancer survivor, after 12 years recovering Breast cancer, Dr. Liu is our surgeon for the caner cell remove operation. We recently found 3 hard lymph nodes on her my right neck, Dr. Ming Liu has squeezed us in for a biopsy procedure immediately in the same week, right before his busy schedule for a medical conference. Thanks God, Today we found out it not a cancer, just reactive lymph nodes and no treatment is needed. I appreciated that Dr. Liu has act so quickly and squeeze us in for biopsy, so we would know the result sooner , and lead to any treatment if it is needed, would highly recommended Dr. Liu to any one who has a surgery needs!

Far from professional. This guy wastes time and money and plays with your livelihood, DO NOT GO TO HIM. We needed to do a specimen collection of a tumor in order to test for cancer, and the day of the appointment we showed up and he said he’s too busy to see us AFTER we took a day off work to go see him. Then we rescheduled and he poked a needle five times to collect tissue for testing, then came back a week later and said he missed the tumor with the needle all five times so the cancer test was inconclusive, and then said if we’re really worried we should just go under surgery? Why do we have to go under a risky surgery due to your negligence and lack of attention to detail? And now we have to wait at least three more months before it’s safe again to poke and collect from the tumor area. All the while cancer could be developing even more as we speak. Would give 0 stars if I could.

If I can I would give zero stars. I had the worst experience here never coming back and everyone should just go somewhere else.

I was referred to Dr. Liu by another doctor, and feel lucky to have him treating my breast cancer. Dr. Liu has superb medical skills and rich experience on surgery. He is also very friendly, easy-going and attentive. He answered all my questions with patience so that relieved my doubts about the treatment plan. He is very confident and decisive on his diagnosing, avoiding unnecessary repeated diagnoses. Finally I decided to have the mastectomy ASAP. He recommended a full treatment plan, inculuding referred the oncologist for the follow-up treatment and the plastic surgeon for the breast reconstruction. The surgery went smoothly, the report showed that the excision was very clean, although the final report showed it turned into invasive not only DCIS. My recovery was quick, back to normal life in a month. I really appreciate Dr. Liu saving my life!

I like Dr. Liu. He has performed my two mastectomy procedures successfully. He gave me a clear instructions before each procedure and called me back after the procedures to check my healing process.

Dr. Ming Liu was excellent at removing my appendix and the follow up letting me know there was a small cancerous tumor in the appendix. I will be going to him for my gall bladder surgery as well if needed. His staff was responsive and the doctor always responded to my inquiries via phone or email.

Over the last two years, unfortunately, I've had to visit quite a few doctors and specialists - and Dr. Liu hands down the worst experience I've had with a medical professional. Let me be clear - the term professional should not be used in conjunction with him or his practice. Communication with his office with minimal to non-existent. His physical exams were, in my opinion, unnecessarily rough and painful - and without any compassion. The last straw was today. I had a procedure scheduled and upon arrival he said he wouldn't be able to perform it because he had neglected to give me some paperwork at our last meeting - and this is after calling me last night to confirm my appointment. He is cold, distant, forgetful and not engaged AT ALL with me as a patient and what I'm going thru. My recommendation: avoid this provider at all costs.
