I have had Dr Nemeth as my hand doctor for over 5 years. I previously had the wonderful Dr Hay. She is a wonderful doctor and always spent quality time with me. I've had surgery and sadly my osteoarthritis in both my hands is extreme right now and I'm so sad because they say that she's not there and she's not coming back. If anybody knows how to get a hold of Dr. Nemeth I would love to tell her what a great doctor she was for me and that I will miss her. The joke for me right now is I've sent an emails to her office telling them how much pain I've been in and now it's gonna be hard trying to find another doctor. A big thank you to Dr. Sathy who actually gave me a Cortizone shot(squeeze me in his schedule before his surgeries, I really appreciate it) in my left hand a couple weeks ago but now I need to get the right done.
I have been a patient of Dr. Nemeth's for 5 years, during which she has done three surgeries on my left hand and right arm. I have had tremendous success with pain relief following her recommendations. She listens attentively to my concerns and answers every question in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Nemeth.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Nemeth. She listened to all my questions, gave me answers, then I trusted her to do carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. It was the best thing I've done in years. I healed nicely and now I no longer have pain in my hands. I can ride a bike again!
Did not help at all... had pain in my arms and consulted her about it but was told just to leave it alone and come back in a month if it still hurt. Appointment was very short and expensive and left with no useful information at all.
Between her and her assistant worst experience I've had. Had a fingernail that was comprised and she just wanted to yank it out. After I told her about a topical that I had been using, she had no interest like somebody had something up their sleeve trying to recommend an alternative instead of yanking out the fingernail. Her assistant and her were both very short and curt and not at all nice. $364 later I was appalled at the treatment I received from both of them. The bottom line is my nail is healed completely and I'm so glad I didn't have her yank it out.
Although I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, I want to share my experience with Dr. Nemeth. I was having painful issues with my wrist a few months ago and was referred from my primary at PAMF. Dr. Nemeth brought in a PA with her which I completely support, but the two were very unprofessional together in the room with me, laughing at inside jokes and not listening to or answering my few questions. More importantly, she barely looked at my wrist and gave absolutely no helpful information as to what could be the issue. I was not asking for anything definitive, just some sort of clarification. She ordered X-rays and and MRI. Both the X-ray tech and MRI tech had to ask me what was supposed to be imaged, like the report was unclear and did not match what I was telling them in regards to what the pain is. They ended up taking an MRI of the wrong section after even I specified with the tech. They took an MRI of the pinky finger, not even close to the wrist. I was not followed up with by their office either after the MRI. I took the MRI to another surgeon who mentioned that this whole experience was managed very badly. I told my GP who was very understanding and brought up the issue with Dr. Nemeth's office, only then (2 months later) was I called to schedule a follow up appointment. I ended up needing surgery, but absolutely went to another orthopedic surgeon. Never had such a terrible and unsettling experience with a physician.
My daughter broke her finger and reconstructive surgery was required. We came with a list of questions, but Dr. Nemeth answered almost all of our questions without us even mentioning them. She predicted everything we wanted to know and addressed every area of concern. She gave my daughter the attention and peace of mind she needed. She clearly explained the procedure and the risks. She even noticed my daughter's swim team sweatshirt, so she addressed swimming restrictions post-surgery before we asked. Very thorough, very friendly. Overall a good experience for a child who is going through what could be a very scary experience.
Dr. Nemeth was professional and listened to every word I said about my thumb issues. She explained what my options were and I waited as long as I could stand the pain before scheduling my surgery. The surgery went well and I'm still on the mend, at least I have better use of my thumb which I didn't have before. Total recovery time is supposed to be a full year. At this point I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm also supposed to have my left thumb done but I'm holding off on that for now. Her PA Lynette was also wonderful. I would definitely use Dr. Nemeth again.Follow up: I fractured my left thumb in an unfortunate accident and was immediately seen by Dr. Nemeth when I requested her personally. She fit me right in to see me and then scheduled me for surgery that same week. I ended up with three pins in my thumb and was extremely happy that she was the surgeon taking care of me. I haven't had the pins removed yet but will update this review when that happens. She is a caring doctor and she knows her stuff and I wouldn't want anyone else working on my hands.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
