List of Preethi Chakravarthy Sridhar's Reviews
Dr Sridhar has been my endocrinologist since 2 years. She is very understanding, supportive and caring.
Dr.Sridhar has been my Endocrinologist since I have been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. She has been so understanding and supportive throughout my complicated pregnancy . I was able to control Gestational Diabetes with diet , with help of Dr.Sridhar, she never even once scared me but was very upfront and explained to me all the possible complication that may arise and what all we could do to prevent that, each appointment with her was so reassuring . Her hospital staff are also really nice and I never had an issue making appointments or rescheduling. They are very prompt in uploading the test results , also Dr.Sridhar and her team always respond to queries in MyChart.
Always in hurry, does not discuss things in proper detail and when we ask more information later on, she asks to book yet another appointment. Greedy! Always seeks ways to keep calling patients to book appointments.
I had a virtual appointment with Dr Preethi. She's very polite and patient and listened to all my concerns. She also explained hypothyroidism before giving me a prescription for the same. I definitely recommend
I have been seeing Dr Sridhar for the past few years and I have PCOS as well as pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, now diabetes type 2. Initially I have seen other endocrinologist and multiple OB/Gyn who said I basically is not sick. Dr Sridhar has helped me decrease my A1C to normal level before my pregnancy, helped me lose 20+ lbs of weight through guidance on nutrition and exercise, and supported me through my very difficult gestational diabetes experience. I must say as a diabetes patient, you do need to control yourself when it comes to your disease, take advices from your doctor and manage your blood sugar. I got a healthy balance of support and guidance from Dr Sridhar and she is there when I needed her when my blood sugar is high. I'm very happy to have found her practice.
I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Sridhar. She has incredible knowledge and took the time to explain absolutely everything to me indepth to ensure I had all information. She answered all of my questions and took the time to get to know me. I look forward to continuing my health journey with her. To top it off, the office staff were prompt and welcoming on the phone and in-person, which is always a huge plus! I didn't have to wait one minute over my scheduled time to see Dr. Sridhar.
Dr. Sridhar is one of the exceptional doctors I have met. She is responsible, easily approachable, tries to understand our health based on our routine and is very positive. She helped in fixing my problem which ended in great result. Thank you so much Dr. Preeti Sridhar
I cannot warn you enough about this doctor. She deserves zero stars - the one star here goes to her staff who, unlike the doctor, was extremely helpful.I showed up to Dr. Sridhar's office looking for a long-term endocrinologist to treat my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. I had already been diagnosed by my OB/GYN who ran the tests, but I was moving to the Bay Area and looking for someone local to prescribe medication. I showed up to Dr. Sridhar with complete lab results and an ultrasound of my ovaries. Despite the fact that I had high TPO(Ab) - which is widely considered a definitive indicator of Hashimoto's, she insisted that my symptoms were not caused by a thyroid problem because my TSH was normal. Instead, she said I was likely tired due to the fact that I was planning an Indian wedding. I informed her that my fatigue had persisted for many years and that I had data proving a low body temperature (often considering a sign of thyroid malfunction) going back three years; she refused to consider my symptoms (which I had logged extensively) and kept pointing back to the single TSH result. She proceeded to demonstrate a complete medical incompetence, being unaware of how women can confirm ovulation without testing (hint: hundreds of millions of women around the world use NFP and there's more than one app for that) and what result on an ultrasound would confirm the diagnosis she wanted to provide (PCOS). She told me that losing weight might help with my supposed PCOS, but had basically no other advice. Later, I went to an incredible OB/GYN who asked for Dr. Sridhar's notes. During our appointment, she asked "Did the endo mention something about losing weight?" Briefly, I replied. "Because that's basically all she wrote all over these notes." At that point, I was about 15 pounds overweight (over normal BMI). Weight gain is a common symptom of Hashimoto's. My OB/GYN looks at my labs, treated me for Hashimoto's, and I shed 20 pounds in about 3-4 months. My antibodies are down and my symptoms have improved. They say it takes on average a decade for patients with Hashimoto's to get treated. Patronizing and incompetent doctors like Dr. Sridhar are the reason. I've been to numerous doctors who have suggested that I'm tired because it's "just stress" or try vitamins or "eat healthier" or whatever other garbage. I couldn't possibly be sick (even if my tests prove it!) because I looked like a normal 25 year old woman. Dr. Sridhar is the sort of doctor who makes you stop trusting medical professionals.
Dr. Sridhar is an exceptional and pragmatic doctor - great bedside manners and makes you feel your health goals are reachable and helps to take care of health problems through a very scientific , patient sustainable fashion. She helped fix my thyroid and ultimately that resulted in me having a baby - something that didn't happen for a while and I wanted it so bad. Thank you Dr. Sridhar - highly recommended person for all endocrinology disorders.
My Wife started visiting Dr. Preeti Sridhar for Gestational Diabetes. We switched to Preeti after our bad experience with another doctor at same practice few years back. She has been very understanding and takes time to understand what is going on and how my wife has been managing diet. Upon her suggestion we made some changes to Diet and it worked like charm. My wife got recently admitted to ElCamino hospital for an Emergency during pregnancy and Preeti was available for all four days on call (6 times a day). She visited us twice in the hospital to advice us on what to expect and how to handle after Steroid shots to improve Lung Development of Baby. It took one week to control blood sugars but Dr. Preeti's guidance was amazing. She called my wife personally to go through numbers after discharge and adjusted the Insulin dosage. Now my Wife is back to normal Insulin levels. We are glad that we shifted to Dr. Preeti. We ignored any inconvenience with Front Office.Worth mentioning that Dr. Len Doberne is an amazing doctor himself and unfortunately doesn't see young and new patients. However he takes over during Delivery if the Primary Doctor at his practice is unavailable. He was extremely great to support us during our first Pregnancy.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
