Well - 1 star is not fair. But, i will explain why 1.I called Dr. Tummala's indicated number to set up an appointment and the call hit a typical Corporate IVR: Press 1 for X, Press 2 for Y. Anyway, when i managed to reach to a human being for setting up an appointment, the first person (female) was Noall (or something like this) was utterly dismissive and rude. She told me dismissively that i need to first speak with the New Patients Team as i was not registered. Nothing wrong with that. Her tone and attitude was extremely dismissive. These people need to learn basic decency to talk to a fellow human being (forget learning to talk to a human being in need of medical assistance - which calls for kindness). If i cared half a bit for my patients - i would FIRE all these rude phone attendants right away. I am sorry for sounding like a Nazi - but this is the pain i feel from my experience.Anyway - my call was routed to the First Time Patients line and the next attendant (female) was equally rude and dismissive. She was asking me personal details (again nothing wrong with that) like Mailing Address etc. but her tone was extremely condescending. I am sorry for being an ASS, but she was so condescending with her tone that i disconnected the call. I am sorry about this. I am positive Dr. Tummala is an A grade doctor. However, if you have assholes (who should be fired right away) answering the phone call, (then i cannot help but write a review like this) then it indicates that you too do not care much about patients. It is profit that drives you - and not a fellow human being's well being. I am sorry, again, for being rude - but i think there are people who treat their Dogs in a better way than Dr. Tummala's phone assistants treat patients. Sorry.

I am not sure where these good reviews are coming from as this doctor doesnt know how to treat simple ailments in GI. Please avoid going to him. He will simply listen to you as long as he can (so that he can account more time spent with you leading to fat fees) but will never give you treatment so that you can recover quickly. He wants you to go to him as often as possible, so that he can make money for PAMF. I am not going back to this doctor. He may have a good degree but unfortunately not a good experience. I chose him based on good yelp reviews on him but unfornately it was a bad decision. If anybody who is reading this knows a good Gastroenterologist, please message me. God bless you !
