Treatment made my condition much worse. He isn't good at telling you what to expect. I would have been so much better off if I never saw him. The 1 hour wait should have been the red flag to make me walk away.

I went in about a gallstone and he put me right at ease, took time to explain everything. He is very witty, informative and really seems to take an interest in not only my ailment but me as a person. I feel very lucky to have been referred to him because he has many years of experience and it shows in his repertoire with his patients.

Dr. Eisenstat projects total confidence in his ability which translates into my trust of him. Having worked in medical research many years ago, I feel qualified to state that you are in good hands with Dr. Eisenstat. If I should need a surgeon in the near future, he would be my choice once again! Thank you Dr. Eisenstat!

Dr. Eisenstat handled my recent gallbladder surgery. Before the surgery he spent time explaining the surgery to me and sent me home with an illustrated pamphlet about the surgery that I found to be very helpful - it included information about what to do before the surgery and what to do after the surgery - all the things you think about 30 minutes after leaving the doctor's office.I was also especially impressed with the coordination between Dr. Eisenstat, my primary care physician and my gastroenterologist. It was common during my meetings with him for him to say "I talked with your primary care physician and your gastroenterologist and we've decided the best course of action would be to....". It was a relief to know I didn't have to follow up and make sure all my physicians knew what was going on.I had some tests done post surgery and Dr. Eisentstat sat down with me and explained (in plain English, thank you!) what the results were and what they meant for my case. I healed quickly and have not had any issues since.
