Seth Strichartz's Online Review Report Card

My own surgery went well. He called the next morning to check on me. No complications. Clear margins. Scars are barely noticeable now. He has always been polite, professional and very kind to me in my appointments. I can't say enough good things about him. I am very grateful for him. It's not just me... among nurses and doctors around here, we ALL highly respect him and recommend him.

I was extremely fortunate to have Dr. Strichartz as my surgeon for my robotic sigmoid colectomy using the da Vinci robot. As with my past surgeries, my body likes to be different and difficult, and Dr. Strichartz was up for the challenge and did an outstanding job adjusting for the unexpected and carefully stitching things up afterward. In addition to being a very experienced and skilled surgeon, Dr. Strichartz has been pleasant and informative, and appeared to be invested in my well-being from the first time I met him. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure and what to expect during recovery, taking into account my medical history, comments, and questions. Every time I sent him a message, he responded right away with exactly the information I was looking for. When I arrived at the hospital for my surgery, every person that I interacted with commented about Dr. Strichartz being a wonderful surgeon and how much they enjoy working with him. After my surgery, Dr. Strichartz visited me in the hospital every morning to check on my physical condition and talk to me about how I was doing, then update my post operative care orders if needed. I felt like he truly listened to me, that he had empathy for what I was going through, but was also encouraging. My follow up visits in his office have also been very pleasant, and my husband and I enjoy talking with Dr. Strichartz and his assistant Lauren as we learn what steps are next in my recovery.

Excellent doctor. Very committed and dedicated. I had pain in right lower abdomen and went to Pamf Mountain View. I was informed that I had ruptured appendix and needed immediate surgery. Was immediately hospitalized at el Camino hospital under Dr Strichartz. He was in OT (operation theater) then and had one more surgery to go before mine. He explained my situation, what and how he will go about it and I was quickly moved to OT. It lasted for 40 minutes but I woke up around 2 hours later and was totally relieved that things went very well. I was even discharged on next day and my recovery is on track. Happy to be back home after ruptured appendicitis surgery just a day before. Dr Strichartz knows what he is doing, very confident and also gives you before hand indicators of what can be expected. He was available at 5 early morning post discharge to answer my doubts and health concerns. Wonderful doctor.

Went to this doctor to get his opinion on the pain I was having which I diagnosed as an umbilical hernia. He said I didnt have one. Went to another doctor a few weeks after for a bladder issue in which they did a CT Scan on me to find out that I have an UMBILICAL HERNIA! This guy is a FRAUD!

Dr. Strichartz is an excellent surgeon. Besides this he is a caring man and always takes the time to answer any questions I have. Even dumb ones. Dr. Strichartz operated on me twice and in my opinion saved my life. I highly recommend him for surgical needs. Great surgeon and even better person.

Hi repaired my hernia and was very easy, almost no pain.I didn't even use the post op pain pills. I highly recommend Dr. Strichartz.

I am pretty happy with Dr. Strichartz and his PAMF team. Two weeks after receiving the pathology report, I had to undergo a major surgery which was done by Dr. Strichartz's. This was my first surgery and I am a bit nervous even though it is a standard surgery. On the day of the surgery he came in and assured me that everything would be fine. After the surgery, he checked me every day and made sure everything was healing which was the case. I was out of hospital by 4th day.

Seth explained the surgery in detail, explained the cause of the issue, came to visit me after the surgery. My experience with Seth was great, made me feel at ease and that I was in good hands. If my Appendix ever grows back and needs to be removed again - he will be my goto Doctor.

After a year of agony I received a diagnosis of gallstones and was referred to Dr Strichartz. This being my first surgery, I was terrified even though it is pretty standard. At the consultation I had a list of questions that he answered thoroughly and I didn't feel rushed out. The day of the surgery he came in and reassured me that everything would be fine. At the post-op he was very thorough to check and make sure that everything was healing as it should. From the first step to the last step I am very happy with Dr Strichartz and the team at PAMF. I would never hesitate to recommend him.
