List of South Bay Allergy & Asthma Group's Reviews
The Asian woman on front desk is really rude(only show her smile to white). To make an appointment to shot. Mountain View front desk rarely answers phone and will redirect you to San Jose while San Jose always redirect call to here but Mountain View office never answer and ignore the voice message. Seriously the front desk staff needs to be educated.
Friendly stuff and engaged specialists. Dr. Zhang was the only specialist in my experience who not only listened to my description of the symptoms but also took time to confirm essential details using the history of records. Appreciate you team's attention, help and recommendations!
I rarely write negative review, but I have to share my experience w/ Dr. Xu I met Dr. Xu 3 years ago for my allergy needs, and everything went well. So this time I would like to continue work with her for my treament, since I'm out of medication since last visit. I made an apt. w/ Dr. Xu and also confirmed w/ frontdesk. But when I was in the video call, Dr. Xu never show up and the frontdesk is very rude and didn't feel sorry at all, telling me that because the insurance I used last time (3 years) has been terminated - which I have new insurance ready and fine to pay cash as well. Then I was trying to reach Dr. Xu on what happened, she blocked me. I swear to God that I didn't say anything besides "I'm ready and in the video chat". Not sure this is the right way to treat your customer.

I was referred to Dr Anlin Xu to treat my son who was then a little baby with severe food allergies and eczema. Before Dr Xu, we had seen dermatologists, pediatricians and nothing worked out. Dr Xu took it seriously, she went to great lengths to explain how things intertwined, she arranged for tests and pointed out a treatment path. She called me to explain test results in a very clear and thoughtful way, and she referred a dermatologist who healed my son's eczema. Now I've been with Dr Anlin Xu for 4 years, she knows us personally and she proactively gives out professional advice in phone calls. I will definitely do allergy shots with her when my son is a little older, I trust her 100%.
The people giving the allergy shots are quite good. The rest of the staff - not so much. Their billing department has made many mistakes, and when I tried to contact them they don't return my phone calls. Also some (but not all) of the front desk staff are very unhelpful. I would advise going elsewhere if you can.
Dr Kellogg was incredible. He is the third allergist my daughter has seen over the years - she is so resistant on immunotherapy. He educated my 15 year old and made her understand the process and how her quality of life. He spend so much time educating us on things we know - but his spin was so impactful for a teenager and parent to understand the process. We are resuming our immunotherapy shots at this facility. I will start this process with my son soon. This place is very conveniently located to where I live so we are happy we like the staff so much.
I had been suffering from hives for months that is quite annoying, not able to identify the cause myself, and eventually to a point I decided to seek specialist help. Dr. Xu provided me really comprehensive explanation on potential causes for my hive problems, ran food allergy skin tests and was able to identify the allergen Tuna (sad, no more poke bowls for me), provided me with various ways to tackle or mitigate the issue in my future life. With the guidance I learned from Dr. Xu I am able to keep hives mostly under control.
Very long wait time. I waited 50min after checking in just to have a shot. . No one picks up the phone in Mountain View office. Very bad experience.
Dr. Zheng did a great job with my visit. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great and helpful, patient. David

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
