Dr. Sims is great, but terrible staff. Dr. Sims is great, however, dealing with his front desk staff is a nightmare. Marie at the front desk implied I was laying about a prescription refill; 'I don't know who is lying, you or the pharmacy.' Extremely rude. The PA Courtney is also not great and not very personable.I know Dr. Sims well and he is a great guy, but the staff he surrounds himself with make the experience awful for the patient. I regretfully am going to have to look elsewhere for my care.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sims and PA Courtney—they’ve made my visits enjoyable and stress-free. The medical assistants have also been fantastic and very supportive throughout my care. However, I have encountered some challenges with the front desk admin, Jerico D. During my interactions with him regarding scheduling, billing, and record-keeping, I often felt dismissed. His demeanor, which included laughter and redirecting me to handle my own issues, came off as unprofessional and left me feeling frustrated. Overall, I appreciate the medical team greatly but believe there’s room for improvement in the front desk experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Pathetic response from the front desk. They don’t even know which insurance providers they are in network with. When I called they they’ve told me that they would accept my insurance. But, upon visiting them they’ve told me that they’re in network with my insurance provider but can’t confirm my coverage. Strange. The lady at front desk arrogantly denied calling the insurance to check the coverage. Will never visit again.

Dr. Sims is the most detailed physician! He is excellent at informing his patients. Scheduling same-day appointments with him is easy as well as getting prescriptions refilled. He is also quick to reply on My Chart and to accommodate telehealth requests. In my experience, I feel his care sits healthily between holistic and westernized. Before jumping to the first medicine to fix a problem, he checks panels and suggests supplements that can support underlying issues! 10/10 would recommend!
