Wesley Kong's Online Review Report Card

I was told by Dr. Kong that it was in my head. I was prescribed physical therapy that wouldn't have helped (according to my urologist at Kaiser). He did not do a physical exam despite me asking for it. Another urologist at Kaiser, did a proper exam and gave a plausible diagnose based on that exam. I never saw his notes. I tried multiple times to get them from the office but no luck.

Dr. Wesley Kong has been my Urologist from more than a year. He is thoughtful, very well informed and has great bed-side manners. As such, I would have given him 5 stars. However, my experience with his office admin staff has been quite awful. I had to wait on the phone for long periods, my calls were dropped, and when they were finally answered, the person on the other side was amazingly uninformed, requiring long periods of wait ,while they find someone who may have a clue. And after all that, the test labs order were not transmitted to the lab, requiring me to call the Dr. office again after wasting time at the lab, and again waiting for a long time on the phone with the Dr. office, to get things sorted out. I would have not posted this not had I not been experienced several times. "

I highly recommend Dr Wesley Kong for an Esprit de Corps outcome of your needs, From the first appointment with Dr Kong to my aftercare from surgery, his care for me has been stellar! His bedside manor is sincere; his experience in repair, has turned a 25 yr of suffering into a success. The surgery was near pain free after a week from his experience in pain management! He never ever dropped the ball in the attention and goal of my bladder health! I’m a big fan!

Dr. Wesley Kong is very professional, nice, humble and knowledgeable. He is excellent. He listens to your health concern.

Dr. Kong is awesome and genuine and made my first visit seem as if I was hanging out and chatting with an old friend. Super chill and down to earth taking the time to listen to me and discussing in depth with me. Dr. Kong's assistant was equally as friendly and very comforting to me during a procedure. The office staff were very warm and welcoming and I am very thankfully my primary physician referred me to his office.

Would give Dr. Kong *6 stars* if I could. Dr. Kong is one of the best and personable doctors I've ever had. He was very informative, friendly, considerate, and accommodating. He made sure to give me all the information ahead of any procedures I had and explained in great detail, any questions that I had. I'm grateful that I found Dr. Kong and would recommend anyone looking for a urologist to reach out to him. His practice, El Camino Urology, is clean, welcoming, and the staff are jovial and friendly. Overall, I wish all medical facilities were run like this and had doctors and staff as good as this one. Quote from one of the ultrasound nurses after I told her that the staff was great, "The reason we're happy here and great with our patients is because the doctors are great and treat us very well." I appreciate all the help I received, Dr. Kong and staff!

He is cognizant of the sensitive nature of his practice and makes patients feel at ease. His new test beats a culture hands down! He takes urgent appointments and makes the effort to help his patients feel better. He is creative in his approach and his surgical skills are top notch.
