Dr. Kirby Tran is one of the best Gyno/Oby doctor! Extremely experienced, patience, caring, planning, explaining and prepared what to expect. My wife has gestational diabetes was out of control and Dr. Tran was very concerned the size of the baby. She immediately scheduled an ultrasound and it was about 9lbs, a very big baby. Dr. Tran immediately requested my wife to be checked into hospital to be induced the pregnancy already 38weeks considered full term. My wife cervix was not opening, and she performed a c-section. We appreciate her so much for planning, and doing c-section and follow up. We are blessed to have her as my wife doctor! I highly recommend any pregnant women to come see her with over 20 yrs of experience!

I don’t think giving 5 stars will justify how amazing Obgyn doctor Tran is. I had few bumps in my pregnancy, she was always there. She provided her personal number and I remember reaching her at 12 in night and response came right away. Experienced doctor makes pregnancy better but a caring Obgyn makes whole experience smooth and enjoyable . Thank you so much doc Tran.

Dr. Tran and her staff are amazing! I actually go the office in San Jose and work with Dolores and Cheryl too and they are always so delighted to see you and are very thorough and professional. I had my son last year and worked with Dr. Tran the whole way through with all of my check up appts and the delivery. She has excellent bedside manner and was always gentle. She is also super experienced and comprehensive. I also suffer from anxiety and depression which is very well managed, but even so, she was certain to ensure every visit that my mental health was remaining stable and after baby, she wanted to ensure I had the resources for post-part depression if needed. She does have a medical assistant with her often for teaching purposes, which I also find redeeming because she appears to want to give back to her medical community by teaching first- hand knowledge. She always introduces her assistant or they introduce themselves before approaching so it's a trusting relationship. It's no wonder I have chosen Dr. Tran again for my pregnancy with my daughter that is due in Sept of this year. She is wonderful and I'm so happy I found her!

What an amazing Obgyn. She is experienced and knows what she is doing. Professional and super responsive. I had few bumps during pregnancy ands after delivery, well she answered my call even at 12 in night. She was there for delivery at 3am in morning. She listened to my every concern carefully and always recommended best for both me and baby.

Im very picky with finding any Doctor . And I was finally happy i found a obgyn to get my annual check ups. I only been a patient of Dr kirby tran since last Summer of 2020 and only been seen for my annual exams. well i was due for it This past september of 2021. I decided to not go back! At my appointment she and her Medical Assistant both walked in together. I was ready for my exam. I noticed that the MA was about to examine me! I had to stop and ask what was going on.. And told Dr.kirby tran i didnt feelcomfortable with That. So Dr Kirby tran ended up doing it. Not sure if that Medical assistant was in training or what But i wasn't going to allow that!!! She was a female Ma. But i dont know what kind of training that MA had! and wasnt going to let her hurt me or my vagina!! That dr didnt explain nothing to me. That was very unprofessional she lost all my trust. Ive decided not to go back.Also if you're the type to talk one on one with your doctor about any concerns you might have you wont get that here with this Dr!!!! . She always had someone in the room with her just to go over results. I never felt like i could open up to her about personal issues.

I am seeing Dr. Tran in the San Jose office for my third pregnancy. She was my OB with my second daughter 3 years before and was really happy to have her as my doctor after Dr. Capulong retired. I love her bedside manner and my appointments never feel rushed. I had a great experience with her delivering my daughter and am excited for my baby boy this time around.

I was referred to Dr. Tran by another doctor. I saw her on January 14th and have not seen her since. In the meantime, she ordered 3 different tests, the last one was an MRI. I thought Dr Tran is very professional, however, her office staff are so rude. For this, I am giving her office an UNSATISFACTORY rating.

Kirby Tran is extremely condescending, her little bit at the top about "personal connection with patients" is a laugh. I was very educated about my health condition and she spoke to me like a baby. Immediately after an operation she scolded me for my "attitude" (I was upset which is pretty natural when you're in huge pain and on weird drugs) and huffed out of the room while I was still talking. In this same absurd conversation she berated me for refusing food that I'm allergic too, which I alerted her and multiple nurses about long before the operation. I was abruptly discharged with no physical therapy consult (multiple nurses told me I needed one before I could leave) and no instructions for post-op care. It's fine to walk away from someone you don't like if you're in middle school, but when that person is your vulnerable patient, you're just a monster.

Dr. Tran is the BEST OB doctor I have ever had, and I have seen many different doctors in this field, and no one compares to Dr. Tran. She does not rush any appointments and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers all your questions. She is very kind and so easy to talk to. She was there to deliver my son and has been supportive throughout the entire process. I am expecting another baby again in a few months and i am so grateful to have Dr. Tran throughout this whole process all over again.

Came to the office on March 26th of 2018 for birth control, nexplanon, specifically. I was informed that they had to order it and it would take a few days to arrive and I would have to come back again. The office told me they would call me to come back. They never did. During our initial meeting, Dr Tran asked a series of questions about the pros/cons of being on birth control and asked if I knew about these. I said I was completely aware since my sister was already on the same type of birth control. It is just frustrating to not have been assisted fairly by their clinic, and not have been informed why they did not reach out again for the actual insertion of my birth control.
