Dr Wang is a caring, thoughtful physician who is comprehensive, and a good listener. Some of the other (unfair IMO) reviews sound like general criticisms of Sutter and their billing practices, which has NOTHING to do with the physician.

Really annoyed, tried to email to get a standard STD test (For safety purposes, didn't they teach that in school?) and Dr. Wang insisted on a video chat and wouldn't order the tests for me. After a few days she wrote a long message full of typos explaining why she couldn't order the test and then she deactivated the option to allow me to reply. When I got poison oak a few months ago, she insisted on conducting the video call and didn't want the nurse practitioner (who had an earlier availability) to conduct the visit. Everyone knows if you have poison oak, you need the medication ASAP, and don't need your primary care doctor. I'm switching doctors ASAP, and I wouldn't recommend this provider to anyone. Stay away!

Looks like this doctor has an online stalker obsessed with and upset by Sutter's billing practices. The thing with Sutter, is if you complain about anything during your annual physical, it gets billed. Does NOT matter which doctor.

I have found Dr. Wang to be comprehensive, listens, and to be thoughtful. The other (unfair) reviews sound more like general criticisms of Sutter and their billing practices, to me. Whatever you tell your physician, Sutter's billing dept does things that are not by the treating physician.

Terrible experience. Dr. Wang clearly does not care about patients. She misrepresented what happened during a preventative checkup, resulting in a ridiculously high medical bill. When I asked her to explain why she wrote inaccurate notes about our visit, she acknowledged it should be fixed, but not before she blocked me and told me she's too busy to actually take action. If you check Dr. Wang's page on Yelp you'll find many patients with similar experiences. The main criticisms are centered around asking a vague question during a routine check up and billing you as if she performed some sort of specialized medical service. In my case, she pretended I did some medical tests that were never performed. Please be careful because the hospital has no authority in disputes like this, it's the doctor's word against yours.

Dr. Wang is the most unethical doctor I've ever seen. She has a consistent history on Yelp for misrepresenting private conversations with her patients during routine check ups, likely to order to collect a larger medical bill.* In my experience she has done the following in her doctor's notes: 1) Claimed I took medication I never took 2) Lied about medical testing that I never received 3) Claimed ...

It saddens me to see other people writing about the same thing. She asked me how I was feeling lately in a routine checkup. When I mentioned I was mostly fine but with minor issues, she didn't say much. Later, I get a bill for a medical checkup due to her claiming that she diagnosed me when she didn't. She admitted to writing incorrect doctor's notes when asked but did not want to help, claiming she had other patients to look after.Looking here, it seems like those other patients were scammed as well.EDIT: I see your reply Laura, but there is no method for me to contact you via your reply. In addition, I already contacted all parties involved (billing, costumer support, and Dr. Wang's office) and they either don't respond or blame each other for the error.

This is a good one. She gives me smart answers. She takes me seriously. What more could you ask for?

I came here to post a review about my recent experience and was not surprised to see a similar complaint by another person. I went in for an annual health check, and answered only questions asked by the doctor. I'm now seeing an additional bill that I did not expect. On calling the billing department they're blaming me for talking about a preexisting condition.
