List of Debra Lebo's Reviews
I am very disappointed in every aspect of my experience with Dr. Lebo. My mother was her patient for less than a year. The only reason it was this long is due to the amount of time she wasted to care for her. Neglect is probably the best way to describe it. If you love your family or yourself , Run away. Throw a dart at a phone book and find any other physician available instead. There is not enough space allowed in this review to describe the nightmare we experienced. In the end, she decided that someone else would be better for her. (wasting almost a year of her time). Good luck shall you decide to stay with her. You will need it.
The first time I saw Dr. Lebo I explained my symptoms very clearly and specifically, telling her I suspected an ovarian cyst. She made me feel rushed and didn't seem to be listening, then stated she thought I had a bladder infection instead as she repeated my symptoms back to me EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of the way I'd described them to her. I ended up having a MASSIVE 17cm cyst. My entire ovary to need to be removed a month later (By HER in an EMERGENCY ROOM) The second time I saw her, six months later, I was experiencing all of the same symptoms, but on the other side. When I was explaining that I was having the "same pains with my ovary as before, but now on the other side" she asked me WHAT HAPPENED TO MY OTHER OVARY?! I understand not remembering six months later, but if she'd even bothered to *read my chart* she would see that the last thing on it was that *SHE* REMOVED IT. She didn't ask many questions, rushed me out the door, barely cared. The most careless, apathetic doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing.

If she can get you out the door in five minutes by ignoring your problems she will. I corrected her, but she said nothing and just sent me away. I ended up having a MASSIVE 17cm cyst. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They don't answer the phone, they are consistently an hour behind on appointments, they don't call people back. There are PLENTY of other options in the area. If you care about being able to actually talk to your doctor, avoid this place like a plague. If you like being treated like you don't matter, this is the place for you. They absolutely WILL NOT value your time. All they care about it getting a paycheck from your insurance company.
I was referred to Dr. Lebo for follow up and recommendation by my pcp because my MRI showed multiple fibroids, thickening of the uteran wall and large cyst on both ovaries. Very painful. Dr Lebo minimized everything and said "there is no pain with fibroids or cyst. Don't know where the pain is coming from. I should get a colonoscopy." She then performed a pelvic and pushed and twisted the speculum too fast scraping my cervix. I yelled in pain. She never said sorry. She just said the speculum hit my bladder. No it did not! I was told to come back in one year. I don't think so!
Dr. Lebo was kind, efficient and had great bedside manner!
My daughter was with a headache after the surgery. However, we though was something normal. We called Lebo's office and the nurse told us to have Tylenol. Couple days later, we visited the pediatrician to check the baby and that point, her headache was really huge... the pediatrician told us it was not normal and considering Lebo office is only two blocks aways we decided to walk in and ask her if she could take a look on her. Lebo was in the office but never spent 3 mins with my daughter, only the nurses. I asked the nurse why the doctor was refusing to see her and she said the doctor asked us to go to ER. In the end, my daughter had to do a blood patch. I do not recommend this doctor.
She was the doctor on call. She refused to come to the hospital to break my water even though she was less than 15 min away in a hotel. I was fully dialated for over 4 hours, the nurses told her I was ready to deliver, and I needed my water broken. She had another patient in labor and she wanted us to deliver around the same time so it would be convenient for her so she refused come in until the other patient was ready. I was in so much pain from the pressure that the anesthesiologist got mad and had the nurse violate hospital policy and break my water with her fingers. Then she took so long to get to the hospital after they told her my water broke that my daughters head was out to her ears when she finally walked in! After my daughter was delivered my placenta wouldn’t come out. Rather than use medication to help me contract and pass the placenta or even breastfeed which can help it pass naturally she tried to yank it out. She tore my placenta into many pieces. Then she put her hand into my uterus up to her elbow and started pulling the pieces out. I was screaming in pain and begging for her to stop. She paused for a bit and requested pain meds for me but the meds required authorization so she just continued without giving me anything. The whole time my daughter was on my chest for skin to skin time and I was screaming right by new baby’s face while trying not to drop her. When she finally finished she told me that she did me a favor by helping me avoid surgery. She cut my baby’s umbilical cord so horribly that another doctor had to come re-clap and re-cut it the next day. Then six weeks after I delivered I started having severe cramping and bleeding. She had left pieces of the placenta attached which were causing hemorrhaging and infection. I had to have surgery to have the pieces removed.
Worst customer care ever. Dr. Lebo is very kind and attentive; I LOVE her as a doctor. However, her office staff is beyond frustrating. I’ve been waiting over two months to TALK to someone. I was sent to have tests done over 10 WEEKS AGO and I cannot get this office to return my calls or schedule a follow up appointment. When I call (exactly at 9 AM when Dr. Lebo’s office opens) I end up waiting over 30 min to even speak an actual person. Getting through on the phone didn’t get me anywhere, though. I was told that I needed to speak to a different department to handle a referral, but when transferred I could not get through and was told to leave a message (that was never returned!!!). I’m so frustrated with this office that I’ve given up on them. I’m moving forward with my primary care to pursue another OBGYN office that can actually handle their patient load. It’s a shame because, like I said, (from the one time I was actually able to meet Dr. Lebo) Dr. Lebo herself was so welcoming and helpful. I had such high hopes with her, but her staff and overall customer service is FAR BELOW PAR. Return your patient’s calls. It’s unethical to make your patients wait 2-3 months just to get results OR EVEN SPEAK WITH AN ACTUAL PERSON. Worst patient care ever!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
