List of Nicole B. Meisner's Reviews
Terrible service. I never saw her. My appointment got canceled and reschedule three times in a row becuase of "emergency surgeries." I got all the calls like two weeks or more prior my appointment. Last time, I told them I needed to keep the appointment even if it were with a different doctor. Two days ago I got a reminder of my appointment and today they called it to reschedule it. I had to options: wait for her who knows for how long(my appointment was at 10am her surgery ended at 10:40) of have an appointment with a different doctor in the afternoon. I can't move my schedule as they please.
I had the most disheartening experience with this physician. I had a complicated pregnancy and I was bleeding for the majority of it. I have a bicornuate uterus and the bleeding was caused by a hematoma that was located in one of the cavities in my uterus. My baby was located in the other cavity.Despite the bleed my daughter was developing perfectly and she had a strong heartbeat. However, I urged that my pregnancy was high risked but she insisted that It wasn't necessary to consider my pregnancy high risk and that there would be nothing she could do about it until I was further along. I was understandably cautious so I would ask questions about my symptoms and she always made me feel like I was burdening her with my questions, and that it was unnecessary to schedule follow up appointments after my visit to the E.R. I was 16 weeks when I decided to change my physician but unfortunately on my next visit at 20 weeks my baby's heartbeat wasn't found. Her heart had stopped beating 2 weeks earlier.. Fast forward 13 weeks after I delivered my still born baby girl. I have been on birth control since mid December I decided to try the nexplanon implant. I haven't been adjusting to it well and have been experiencing severe symptoms including severe Post Partum Depression and suicidal thoughts. I was very concerned about my physical and mental health because of how extreme i was experiencing them.. i called to make the soonest available appointment to remove the implant and it happened to be with Nicole Meisner. I had let Nicole Meisner know about these symptoms when I arrived for my appointment to remove the nexplanon. She asked me what I wanted to do instead of the implant to which I replied that I didn't want to take any birth control at this time because of the way my body was reacting to the hormones. She replied very rudely by asking me " Are you okay with getting pregnant?!" I informed her that I was perfectly capable of planning to prevent pregnancy, as that isn't something that I believe would be healthy for me. I was tearing up at this point and I continued, "I feel that if I'm telling you as my physician that I want to take this birth control out and im telling you why then you should respect my decision instead of trying to pressure me into doing something that I have decided I dont want. " she got angry and told me that she doesn't need to be spoken to in a disrespectful way and that she didn't have to take my implant out that day and that I could find another physician to take it out. I was in shock and was crying at this point. I had Nothing else to say so I walked out in hysterics. I did make a complaint although I'm not sure how official it was or what other steps to take to make me feel like my care is being taken seriously. I received a letter today stating that "sometimes the relationship between a physician and her patient may no longer be effective and the physician finds it necessary to ask the patient to select another physician ." The letter goes on to inform me that SVMC Healthcare for Women will no longer provide me with medical care. This institution has really let me down and broken alot of my trust . All while I'm trying to recover they treat me as a patient horribly and then have the nerve to send me a letter full of nothing but the audacity. I write this to let women know to take care when choosing their physician because the care for yourself and your unborn baby is critical. And the care you receive after you give birth or deliver a still born is especially important, especially because you're in such a vulnerable place.. Physicians should give their patients respect and be able to make them feel safe. I never felt safe while I was in the care of Nicole Beth Meisner. I do believe if I would've received the high risk care that I was seeking that any problems could've been detected sooner .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
