List of Pattie J. Dimmette's Reviews
Since the very first appointment the OB was late by a half hour and ever since then has just been downhill, never more than 3 or 4 people in waiting room and end up being there for no less than 3 hours...longest I have had to wait was 5 hours all to talk to her for 15 minutes, my biggest concern is she failed to tell me I had an anterior placenta and that I had a left ovarian cyst...very disappointed and angry
Dr Dimmitte is an amazing OB & she took really good care of me throughout my pregnancy. I’m happy I made the decision to go with her, the staff is very kind & always got back to me about questions I had.
Absolutely terrible experience. She’s forgetful, had multiple charts for me which means 3 or more DIFFERENT due dates. Excessive wait times, and very old fashioned, I felt like nothing was done that I couldn’t do at home.
The Best OBGYN
I echo the same sorts of things in the other reviews. Essentially this is Dr. Dimmette in a nutshell: Inconsiderate, not compassionate, does not put her patients first, and makes you feel crazy. I absolutely hate writing reviews like this because I know at some point there HAD to be a time when she was super caring, supportive, ON TIME and was proud of what she did as a doctor. It's hard to understand how someone can lack so much care in what she does and who she sees. Would not recommend her to anyone.
Throughout my whole pregnancy the only time she ever showed interest in me was my birth story since she was NOT there. (big surprise, not really) And yup because she could not see me for my 38 week appointment (she was apparently SO busy) there were no previous records of how dilated I was, measurements etc. so the staff did not know how to gauge me which led to me having my baby in triage since she came 26 minutes after I hit 4 cm (and to add I was alone in triage and had to scream like someone was murdering me since there was no working nurse button near me).Oh and yes, this was at Rancho Springs - but that story is for another day. The way I see it is this. If someone is willing to commit to you, you should make the same effort in committing to them, especially if they are trusting you with something so important like bringing life into this world. At work if someone invites me to a meeting, I show up on time, and if I'm running late, I let them know but I am also busting butt to get there. It's called respect for people's time. It's called being considerate. It's called being kind. Dr. Dimmette, I'm not sure what your damage is, but something must have happened. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe at one point you were so in tune with your patients and didn't get so behind that you make pregnant people wait three hours in your office during a pandemic. I'm going to believe at one point you cared and actually came out and talked to your patients face to face after canceling an appointment on the spot. (Yes this happened, and thank goodness I had already had my baby). I really hope it hits you one day how incredibly poorly you have treated people, and I hope you change. For all those future patients, do yourself a favor and unless you enjoy waiting for someone that really doesn't care, please don't put yourself through this. You deserve better.
My first appointment I had to wait 3 hours to see the doctor. 3 years later I'm trying to schedule another exam. Left 4 messages over the course of a month, and not one of them has been returned. This is not patient centered care and this is a terrible way to treat patients; especially ones who have a history of cervical cancer. I've waited months and still can't even get on the schedule.
Well I like Pattie Dimmette. She spends time with me and answers my questions. The negative reviews are mainly about wait times and scheduling...but she has made some staff changes and they are very good about getting back to you if need be. They pick up the phone 998% of the time. Friendly and professional, they are genuinely happy to reschedule your appt. Should Dr. need to tend to an emergency. NEW OFFICE NEW STAFF NEW ATTITUDE!
I've been a patient of Dr. Dimmette's for well over ten years. She's been my regular OB/Gyn doctor and guided me through a major cancer scare and subsequent surgery. Because I really liked Dr. Dimmette, I tolerated her extremely long wait time (last time I waited 3 hours to be seen, WITH AN APPOINTMENT made months in advance), and the lack of return phone calls by her office staff. But, now I'm done. I called and left messages 4 times trying to just make an appointment...no call back. I then emailed the office manager begging her to respond and just help me schedule my annual...no response. I finally left a 5th message, and after being a patient all these years...still no response. What causes a medical staff to completely ignore the calls of a long-time patient who is just trying to schedule an appointment? I've gone from disappointed, to sad, then mad, mad that I've wasted so much time calling this unprofessional, uncaring office, mad that I've waited weeks for a call back, mad that I now have to find a new doctor, and mad that a good doctor such as Pattie Dimmette can't seem to get her office staff to be kind, caring, and professional. After reading so many other's reviews, it's obvious I'm not alone in my frustration, yet felt it was time to add my input. I had to give the one star so I could just leave this review. :(
Back in 2014, I wrote a positive review about Dr. Dimmette but sadly, I need to update that. I've been a patient of Dr. Dimmette's for well over ten years. She's been my regular OB/Gyn doctor and guided me through a major cancer scare and subsequent surgery. Because I really liked Dr. Dimmette, I tolerated her extremely long wait time (last time I waited 3 hours to be seen, WITH AN APPOINTMENT made months in advance), and her lack of response by her office staff. But, now I'm done. I called and left messages four times trying to just make an appointment...no call back. I then emailed the office manager begging her to respond and just help me schedule my annual...no response. I finally left a fifth message, and after being a patient all these years...still no response. What causes a medical staff to completely ignore the calls of a long-time patient who is just trying to schedule an appointment? I've gone from disappointed, to sad, then mad, mad that I've wasted so much time calling this unprofessional, uncaring office, mad that I've waited weeks for a call back, mad that I now have to find a new doctor, and mad that a good doctor such as Pattie Dimmette can't seem to get her office staff to be kind, caring, professional. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
