List of Rahima Afghan's Reviews
I was referred to Dr.Afghan by my primary Dr. I read all the google reviews and hoped that I would have a better experience than what most people were posting. I DIDN’T. She is absolutely a horrible psychiatrist. My first visit was 15min she hardly asked anything, didn’t look up from her iPad much. Prescribed my medication and I was on my way. Today second visit 7 min visit, readjusted my medication and since it’s my first time taking meds for adhd I asked a few questions and she yelled at me! I was so disappointed and upset. This will absolutely be my last visit with her. Absolutely horrible!!!!
Dr Afghan is professional and shows concern. I go to her for treatment which I'm very satisfied with.
Saw Dr. Afghan for couple of years and was okay with our visits because I wanted to get in and out. Her tone was always flat and she would become cross if you missed an appointment or dose. Missing appointments is not a usual thing for me. Tried to get help from her office when my insurance dropped her. They told me because I missed my last appointment that there was no other doctors to see me and to go back to my insurance. The tone was very rude and obviously not helpful. I feel like this group is okay if you do exactly as they tell you without any missteps. My last interaction with the office staff felt punitive.
Two stars because I got somewhat effective medication, at the very least. Continuously met with one receptionist staff who was rude and incompetent. I rarely post negative reviews, but future patients should know they will fumble your appointments. Doctor is not a great listener which definitely affects the quality of care you receive.
Terrible Doctor Had an initial new patient, video call visit with Dr. Afghan. All she seemed to be concerned with were the prescriptions I received from past Doctors. No care of the actual issues to determine a treatment plan and total disregard for actual patient care. Terrible!!! I did not even ask for prescriptions, just provided what had been prescribed.?.. Very rude from the start and would NEVER recommend this person to anyone.
Discharged me after I disagreed with her diagnosis. The doctor believes she is a god and that she is always right.
Like talking to a wall who looks at her patients as spreadsheets. Had to repeat every relevant medical history with her several times, as she was not paying attention. Pushed a medication I had no business being on despite my history. Rude and unprofessional. Do not go here to get better.
Dr. was rude, rushed, & made my daughter feel really uncomfortable. I had to end the appointment less than 10 minutes after it started. Will be reporting to my insurance.
waited over two months to be seen by dr.afghan and she was very rude and not personable at all. i had to let her know i would be finding someone else to speak with because she didn't seem caring and was rushing me. if you're going to be in this field, at least pretend to want to help others and actually care. so disappointed
Doesn't listen to anything you have to say regarding medication reactions or conerns and will talk over and belittle you constantly. Complete lack of empathy and emotion, you feel like you're being prescribed medicine by a robot. 0 STARS would not recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
