Glad to be a new patient here so far.
This has to be the worst medical group I have encountered in my life. I'm 53 years old and I have had my fair share of doctors. This whole group has rescheduled every single appointment my wife and I have made and I am not exaggerating by saying "Every single Appointment". That's a total of 5 appointments scheduled ranging from doctor visits therapy and CT Scans. I'm very disappointed on how they so incompetent they are. I needed a Ct scan that was rescheduled on the same day since my time is not valuable and then I'm there to only be told I needed lab work prior to the scan. No one told me I needed it . All they could say is they're sorry. Do yourself a favor and do not give them your business or let them take care of your health concerns because they don't really care. You should be ashamed to call yourself a medical facility.
This place is a joke. I've been twice, hoping my first experience was just a fluke. Nope, not the case. 1st time I went, I had a morning appointment, waited nearly 45 minutes to go in the back room, then another 30 mins to be seen. Saw the doc for all of 3 minutes and off I went. 2nd time, I was stuck in terrible traffic, tried calling to let them know I'd be late, arrived 17 mins late and was told I was past the 15 minute grace period and they wouldn't see me! She told me they were too busy. Mind you, I was the only one in the sitting area and one of two cars in the parking lot. Won't be going here again.
Horrible scheduling, horrible billing, horrible service. These people are just here to collect your insurance premiums, go somewhere else.
Great office, staff and love my doctor Dr. Fraley. Won't go anywhere else. I go to the cal oaks location.
The worst. Gave me the wrong prescription, several calls trying to fix that and nothing. Not one returned phone call for several weeks to try an help. , nothing....... Clearly no respect for their patients needs. If I could post with zero stars I would. Stay away....
Rancho Family Medical Group at Hot Springs in Murrieta is a breath of fresh air!! Their PA, Mark Amis, is amazingly thorough! My son had a urinary infection and they got him in right away. Laura who worked with me on the phone was so professional and helpful! I am 65 and this is the best place I have experienced years! They were so prompt, caring, and answered all questions. With my son having a history of kidney stones, it was critical for us to find a facility where his needs would be quickly met.PA Mark Amis, Laura, and the staff exceeded expectations. They provided care that one would expect years and years ago, but that seem absent today in our present world. To Mr. Amis, Laura, and the other staff members who took care of us, a deep heartfelt thanks to you and you are so appreciated! I was so touched by the level of care that I have even shared it with others as a wonderful, positive experience in these trying times. A true breath of fresh air and a sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart to you guys! And, I needed a ENT for another family member, and Laura was able to refer me to a ENT who will get my other son in early Monday morning! Thank you again for such a great experience for my family members!
Do not go here...stay away if possible! The bedside manner that this facility practices is horrible. They think that you can't hear them in the other room but the walls are so paper thin that you can hear them. And when called out on it, I'm not sure they even realized on how paper thin the walls are! Way to go for making a patient feel comfortable!
Went in for annual physical, and Dr. Sotis burned a wart on my finger with a 3 second spray of liquid nitrogen. Wart was not removed! Received a bill for $415 for Surgery (Destruction of Lesion) along with the bill for another visit for $273.81 for discussing another symptom during physical. Excessive Billing! Medical Fraud!
After receiving a phone call from the doctor about needing to update my insurance information in preparation for my appointment, I tried to call back. I called back and waited on hold for an hour and a half and then gave up. I called again the next day and waited on hold for too long and had to hang up. I arrived at the office and the receptionist was frustrated with the fact that she had not received my updated insurance information. I was told to return to the office in two days to receive some paperwork and have a test read. They told me to come back at 12:47pm. I called the next day to confirm that they would not be at lunch during that time. After waiting on hold for well over an hour, they confirmed that they would see me promptly at 12:47pm. When I arrived at 12:47pm they were not there. I left the office and called because they were going to give me paperwork that they had filled out when I came at 12:47pm. I waited on hold for over three hours to be told that my call had been transferred to the wrong office and that they would put me on hold for the correct office. However, I had called the number that the Hot Springs office had told me to call. I was transferred and continued to wait. After waiting for another thirty minutes I decided that it was pointless. I tried to log onto MyChart as they have recommended and realized I needed an activation code only available from them. They called me two weeks after the deadline for when I needed the paperwork. In conversation, they tried to make the problem sound like it was my fault. If you are seeking a communicative doctor, do not go here. If you need deadlines to be respected and medical matters to be addressed on a reasonable timeline, do not go here. Until they figure out their communication system, I would recommend staying away. I don't want you to have to wait hours on hold and then be treated like you are the one who lacks communication skills.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
