Rhoda Estrella's Online Review Report Card

I had been trying to see Dr Estrella since November only to have my appointment rescheduled days before for the next month on two separate occasions. In late January I finally managed to get her to agree to a virtual appointment so that I could be referred to an OBGYN for my high risk pregnancy. It's been more than two months since then and my referral keeps being sent to wrong offices or sent incomplete. The receptionist doesn't listen to what's being said and says I'll call you back about everything and never does. The care coordinator doesn't answer her phone, return messages or emails, or do her job at all apparently. When my husband called to demand an explanation, he was told to have compassion because she had been sick and lost a relative. I am 32w pregnant and haven't been seen by an OB beyond the times I need emergency treatment. This isn't just incompetent, it's grossly negligent.

Dr Estrella is an excellent doctor but she has horrible front end staff. I had tried for over at least 6 months to get my daughter a referral to a specialist. I finally gave up and got a new doctor.

Do not go to this doctor. She is very irresponsible and went to her clinic while sick and ended up tested positive for COVID. For your health and safety please go elsewhere.

I’ve been with Dr Estrella since 2003 for a long time and this office is the best . Service and referrals I ever need.

Im not one to leave bad reviews but here I am. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but after two visits nothing changed. My first visit was when I was a new patient and they said the soonest they could schedule me was a month out. So I waited a month and went and waited an hour after my SCHEDULED appt time. Next time I went in was for birth control only to find out after waiting that they dont prescribe birth control there even though I told the front desk receptionist that it was for birth control. So they wasted my time by having me come in to then tell me they had to refer me to a obgyn. The lady at the front desk this time was nice but clearly wasnt listening to what I was asking for or they wouldve told me they dont prescribe birth control. The doctor was nice but it seems that the staff doesnt really seem to care as to why youre there or understand time urgencies. I just hope they do better in the future.

We just moved from Studio City and was looking for a family doctor for my aunt who is 77 years old so we made an appt. with Dr. Estrella. We were received by very friendly staff. Needless to say Dr. Estrella is such a beautiful soul. She made my aunt comfortable and was very patient attentive and caring to her. Ordered routine tests and even went over and beyond our expectations. My aunt loves her and so happy with her. God bless Dr. Estrella.

No matter if your appointment is scheduled for morning or afternoon there is absolutely no regard for your time and schedule. Appointment taker fails to properly convey whats needed or expected at the appointment thus wasting months waiting for an appointment that the doctor isnt prepared for upon arrival. Staff is unprofessional.

I just started going to seeing Dr. Estrella as my primary doctor in August, and I am already trying to switch my Doctor to someone else. To a Doctor that actually CARES about their patients and does not rush my during my appointment. Every time me and my mom call (we both have dr Estrella as our primary) we are always on hold for 15+ minutes. We wait over an hour, close to two hours to be seen. Wait 30minutes in the room, only to be seeing and attended to for less than 10 minutes! Every time I ask questions she rushes me and last time I had a full body female physical and I had a list of concerns I wanted to read off about myself, and she gave me this look of annoyance and before I could finish she cut me off and said once they get my blood results she’ll have answers, I was amazed and at that moment knew I was wasting my time at this place. Please don’t have this lady as your primary! Find someone that had good reviews and gives a damn.Staff is unprofessional as well.

Staff is extremely rude and show little to no compassion. Left mutilple messages for prescription refill with no response. Staff told me to switch doctor if i didnt like the way i was being treated. Jennifer specifically is extremely rude and takes herself way to serious.
