Excellent doctor! I got lasik from dr. Burns 3 years ago and have since been so greatful and happy with my eyesight. I still can't believe how good my eyesight is. I recommended a freind to him who also got her lasik here. She is very happy with it. Thanks Dr. Burns!
I got my lasik done with Dr. Burns and I am very happy with the results. Thank you! Dr. Burns i am very grateful for your work.
Had a great experience both my husband and I had surgery and threw our glasses away!
Great experience with eye surgery from beginning to end.
Dr Burns cares only about the money and not the patient. After cataract surgery I had massive floaters and I asked him what could be done. He replied that it could be fixed but there would be a danger that my retina could be damaged and I could go blind. I lived with these blinding floaters for 2 years before seeing another surgeon because I was afraid. This wonderful man operated on my eyes performing what is called a vitrectomy with no danger to my retinas and now I can see clearly, no thanks to Dr. Burns.
I've been a patient of Dr. Burns for over 10 years and he delivered 2 of my 3 children. He is by far the best Doctor I have ever had and I suggest him to all my friends and family. He also performed a procedure for me and was excellent. The best!
This is a large eye clinic in So CA. Specific doctors work in certain locations. Not impressed with Palm Desert facility. Waited 3 hours over my appointment time in a crowed office. Everyone that day had waited 3 hours. I came for a consult. A doctor that makes you wait long is not respectful of my time. Apparently he overbooks and if that is an indication of surgery day I don't want him as my doctor. Trying to get any records from there they want to charge you, Brenda is rude as rest of staff.
I saw Dr. Burns for the first time for an annual PAP, in addition, to discuss my concerns with TTC. Let's be honest - Dr. Burns is HONEST - to the point. No sugar-coating - clinical, NOT critical. I'd rather HE, or ANY doctor, be straightforward, especially when it comes to my health and/or the health of an unborn child. All of the above being said, if you're unable to accept, or at least TRY to accept the TRUTH, perhaps he's not the doctor for you. Don't expect to be coddled or "breastfed" (puns unintended) - but DO expect sincerity - most importantly, knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Burns is the best!!! He explains everything and never fails to ask if I have any questions . When I went into labor he was NOT on call but he still came in and delivered my daughter !I am beyond thankful he was able to deliver her. He is very smart but so down to earth and comforting . I never met a Dr. That I enjoyed going to like I do him!! And if you have to wait a bit at his office, it is probably because he went out of his way that day to deliver for one of his patients! His office staff is great, such sweet ladies!! Overall picking Dr. Burns was one of the best choices I have made!!! Love him!!!!
Dr. Burns was my neurologist when he was at Cleveland Clinic. He is the best! Was extremely saddened when he moved to Phoenix as my daughter has developed the same condition (cervical dystonia) that I have; and, I can only wish he were still in Ohio so that Dr. Burns could treat her condition. If Dr. Burns is your neurologist, then you're in very capable & caring hands!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
