Dr. Shehata was extremely flexible with my decisions towards the type of medical procedure I needed. The office staff also extremely helpful. Especially Crisania (sorry, I’m sure I spelled it wrong). Crisania, were super nice and helpful in ensuring I had the necessary information for my procedure and for work. Thank you the the entire team.

Dr. Selinger is by far the most unprofessional physician I've encountered. She is rude, cold, and shows no type of empathy. I was seen by her for my pregnancy and every time I had an appointment with her I dreaded it. There were a few times where it was close to an hour wait to see her. I had a bunch of questions and I would wait until Dr. Shehata saw me to ask away. She made me feel stupid, one time when she noticed I was laying on the bed incorrectly, I told her that this is how i usually lay down and she said "no i always see you and i always pull out the extension, you need to pay close attention " i was a bit dumbfounded on how she was treating me. When she was checking for baby's heartbeat she was unable to hear it so she says, "next time dont put lotion on your stomach its hard to hear the baby" she said it with attitude. I simply responded ok. After that encounter i saw her two more times and again she was short with me. Almost like she hated her job or if i always caught her on her bad days. Maybe she had something against me? Luckily she didn't deliver my baby Dr. Shehata did and she has always been so professional and empathetic towards me. The last straw was today, i received an extension of my disability because i am suffering of postpartum depression. The office called to notify me that they were not able to extend my disability. Long story short they messed up and i asked to speak to Dr. Shehata but she wasn't available so then i asked to speak to the MA that specifically told me she was going to enter the information on her end and she was also not available. i said i would hold for her and when i finally spoke to someone it was Selinger. I asked if this was the MA and she said no this is Dr. Selinger what's going on, i explained myself to her and she too said that they were not going to extend my disability. I told her i wanted to talk to the MA and she said ,"i didn't know she could override me" with a cackle . She eventually looked at the notes and very nonchalant said "i see it her i will fix it" thats when i took a breather and told her "i have postpartum depression and the thought of not being covered from my job is scary " then she said " i dont know what else to tell you, i said i would fix it" then i said " an apology would be nice!" She "apologized" but She didn't mean it. Then she tried to blame it on me saying that i confused the admin. Thats when i went off on her and told her she always blames me. She told me she wasn't going to process my claim and that now i had to wait to talk to the other doctor. I got a letter in the mail stating she would be leaving that doctors office which makes me so happy that i will not see her face come November.

Don’t go here. Normally don’t leave bad reviews but the service was so bad I had to have my Doctor refer me to a different gyno. At first they mixed up my results. Then they didn’t offer treatments or help. They were so rude. She said all she could do was book an appointment to talk to the doctor to get help only after I saw my primary again which is pointless because they already said they won’t give me any treatment here. Basically they had me going in circles just to get some basic care. When I talked to my primary doctor she told me that she has gotten several calls to switch from this gyno because the care was so bad.

Dr. Selinger is amazing, She's very knowledgeable and I'm glad to be her patient.

She was always happy to answer any questions I had and is extremely knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better doctor to share in this exciting time :) I was very pleased with the entire experience and cannot wait for her to deliver my future children!

I have been a patient of Dr. Selinger for many years and have always had wonderful experiences with her and her staff. She takes time to listen and always makes sure that I am fully and properly informed of her recommendations regarding my health and plan of care. I will always continue to recommend her to all of my friends and family.

This is an updated review. I was treated by dr sellinger during the beginning of my pregnancy until she questioned me about the possibility that my partner was abusing me. At the time I defended him and we sought a new OB. Dr sellinger was in tune with what was happening. Her questioning came across as confrontational at the time but looking back was a very direct show of concern for myself and my child and I wish I would have taken the assistance she offered at the time. I will agree with others that dr sellinger is direct and that can come across as rude but I am the first to attest that she was aware enough that she saw what no one else could.

If there are any first time moms or anyone trying to enjoy their pregnancy that are scrambling trying to find a great OBGYN— keep scrolling and please look for good recommendations, don’t settle like I did! This woman was rude from the moment I went in there to the moment we went our separate ways. I dreaded going to my appointments. She rushes through your appointment, she has no problem saying smart remarks to you and shows no empathy whatsoever and expects you to know everything when being pregnant for the first time. You’re a doctor and some peoples only support during this process- A new profession or a new attitude would work wonders! The office never gave me my form to get blood work and she told me “im sure we gave it to you, I’m not the one with pregnancy brain- you are.” she stopped checking how big the baby was half way through my checkups and that caused me to have an emergency C-section AFTER being in labor for 8 hours.Just don’t.
