List of Sreenivasa Nakka's Reviews
Horrible experience from billing department JoAnn to Dr Nakka! Other staff members were kind. Was awake during procedure and only thing the Dr said to me during my visit/procedure was be quite and put your head down! Never introduced himself to me or went over results with me. Humiliated and very unprofessional! I would NOT recommend Dr Nakka to anyone! Very disappointed!
Colonoscopy and endoscopy went great, the nurses were incredible, the Dr. is rude, I only spoke to him on the phone and he was very rude. Shame on him, I never met him, nor did I even see him, you see, he never even bothered to see me before or after the procedure…they do not call as they said they would, with the biopsy results. Shame on this Dr. for his lack of compassion and complete lack of treating patients with respect. I will not be recommending anyone here, and of course, I will not be back. His reviews are very telling, but I decided to see for myself, the reviews were correct….I learned my lesson….same as eBay, you do not purchase from sellers with bad reviews…same thing here…the reviews certainly warn you…
worst experience of my life ! woke up during colonoscopy ! He is rude and just wants to charge you for any little thing ! His nurses were great ! He should retire the worse Doctor ever ! I knew before colonoscopy that he would find a polyp no matter what ! because then he could charge you another $250.00 I was crying in pain
worst facility! my mom had egd she was awake the whole time! her iv got infected because the nurse couldn't even do it! ami madre le hicieron una endoscopia despierta!
I spoke to the doctor a few months ago and set up my appointment for a colonoscopy. I got the prep kit and waited. The prep kit includes two little bottles for two separate days. I've listed the instructions below if you are interested in reading them. The prep-kit taste: if I had to describe the taste it would be a lemon flavored nyquil cough syrup taste. It wasn't super terrible but having to drink that much water in a short time is what makes you gag.The staff up front were very friendly. The ladies in the back were nice but have either been doing the job too long or they need sensitivity retraining. I have never gone through anything like this and when I was asking questions I was being answered with medical jargon. I literally said "I don't understand medical jargon" and could they please explain. They were frustrated and a bit of attitude started showing through. For instance them asking to spray a gag reflex spray in my throat. I was confused. Why would I get that for a colonoscopy? Turns out my doctor also ordered an endoscopy... which I had no idea what it was or why I needed it. It is when they put a camera down your throat to check your stomach or intestines. But the pffttt sounds were a bit irritating. I went ahead and let them even though I do not have stomach or intestine issues in my opinion. The doctor was nice and I did not experience the rudeness the other people posted. I can say there are cultural differences and he will speak to you as a father figure. I was given demoral to knock me out right before the procedure. I can say that I remember waking up mid-procedure crying and trying to move when I heard him sternly say that I need to stop moving while the ladies held me down. I believe they added more medication because the next time I woke up I was laying in the recovery bed. I was walked out to where my hubs was waiting and he drove me home. I fell asleep for a couple of hours and woke up just fine.I hope I didn't scare anyone off from getting this done. I am sure this is much easier than having to go through serious medical issues. Good luck on yoursINSTRUCTIONS 36 hours before the test: 9/19/2021Eat a light breakfast and lunch (no red meats, fruit, lettuce salads, or nuts), then start the liquid diet for your evening dinner meal.- If you are diabetic, take half of the dose or your prescribed diabetic medication and/or insulin dose the day prior to the exam. He was so rough jamming the equipment so hard I got a mass on my sacrum. The endoscopy was jammed down my throat and I continued to gag. It was a nightmare!
I'm not understanding all the negative reviews?? I just had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and it was easy peasy. The entire process, from consultation, to prep, the procedure, was smooth and professional. I didn't feel a thing, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how painless the whole thing was. The nurses in the procedure were kind, caring, empathetic and VERY good at their job. If your primary and/or your insurance refer you to Dr Nakka's office, you are in good hands. (One star removed for minor inconveniences including being asked to come in early, only to wind up waiting an hour anyway. For a potentially high anxiety causing procedure, the less time waiting around would have been better.)
My advice... Stay far away from this practice. The Doctor, Dr. Nakka is rude, impersonal, and not a very friendly person. His staff is absolutely terrible, Esmeralda and Erika the scheduler and receptionist are discourteous, lies straight to your face, and they have absolutely ZERO customer service skills. Do yourself a huge favor, STAY AWAY!

Primary faxed the STAT referral twice saying to contact ASAP. They refuse. Primary sent a referral for a colonoscopy a year and half ago. They set the appointment 4 months out. I said the referral would be expired, they said "no problem" Day before appointment they called and canceled and would not reschedule. Sadly he is the only game for the Hemet Community Medical Group. Can't even go to Hemet ER cause Nakka is the staff GI - seriously, how can I trust this guy??
