I had a privilege of meeting DR Caravelli yesterday. He was the most knowledgeable Dr I have seen at Napa Valley Ortho. His patience and interest in my prior surgeries at UCSF was the first in Napa. I wish I had a chance to meet him before. The treatment that he provided was excellent and eliminated a lot of my pain. Thank you!

Dr. Caravelli just completed a hip replacement for me about 3 weeks ago. I highly recommend him for his professionalism and bedside demeanor. He answered all questions and took his time doing it. I definitely recommend him---a top notch orthopedic surgeon.

I’m a patient of Dr. Caravelli and am about to undergo a Revision TKA do to an issue with the one I received 3 years ago in Idaho. I’m very appreciative that I have found a Dr. who believed me when I said my knee hurts as it did before surgery. After a few visits he determined the issue and I cannot wait for the results.

My mother went to Dr. Caravelli for a hip replacement. He was extremely arrogant in telling her it was her back and not her hip, ran through X-rays on her back (instead of her hip) and ran through her insurance. The X-rays showed nothing wrong with her back, he only continued to offer expensive cortisone shots. Eventually he and his staff stopped returning her call Eventually my mom went elsewhere to get the help and hip replacement she needed. She had almost zero cartilage left on her hip
