On November 22 my wife passed away at this hospital due to heart complications. She went into coma never came out of it. They said she had fluid around the heart!At that point they I believe they should have done open heart surgery and not use just a sringe.

I took my friend to the emergency room. After getting checked in my friend was called to the back. I tried to follow them to the back, but the nurse told me there is a no visitor policy because of COVID. I sat back down in the lobby. Then another patient comes into the emergency room and gets checked in. That nurse lets both the patient and the visitor into the back because the charge nurse knew them. Paradise Valley Hospital discrimines people. If they have a policy, then everyone should be treated the same.

Took my son here because he had a high fever for 3 days straight and upon arriving his temperature was 103 and they checked him in and left him laying on the bed for 45 min.. knowing his fever was high and he had the shivers. The Dr. stated he was going to give my son Tylenol and Motrin to reduce the fever and never came back. This place is so unprofessional.. when I decided to leave, the dr. told me the nurses were going to give him meds now to reduce his fever, are you serious? I went to Radys urgent care the day before and when they checked him in they gave him meds right away and put a wet cloth on him to reduce the fever. Paradise Valley Hospital really disappointed me today. How long does it take for a nurse to give someone Tylenol / motrin? Seriously. Had I known I had to wait for some damn meds and not a care in the world from any staff at this hospital, I would have just drove straight to Radys hospital. I came to Paradise Valley because it was the closest hospital and they really disappointed me with their service. I ended up leaving and taking my son to Radys. I really hope the staff here learns how to put in an effort for caring for patients / those admitted.

I came in with my wife as she had a very bad side pain. We thought it would be fast as we came in at 4am and the hospital was empty no one at all. Boy were we wrong been over 3 hours waiting for the doctor. The doctor was in 3 times just worried about our insurance each time he came in nothing about how my wife was doing. The nurses were ok but clearly the doctor was only about the money not about the patients. I just came to this hospital as it was the closest hospital to my home. Worst mistake EVER!!!!! We usually go to Sharp which is a great place they are 1 million times better at the end of the day with a empty emergency room we just left after 4 hours of nothing!! Please stay away from this hospital if you come you will be sorry!!

Unprofessional, negligent, need to be sued for malpractice. Left me in horrible condition with 0 care for how they sent me home in this condition, the staff talks and laughs directly at you. I refused to sign any paperwork when I was discharged due to malpractice and the fact that the paperwork said I was there for abdominal pain which was COMPLETELY wrong. E.R performed a lumbar puncture that was very faulty leaving me now with many problems. Internal medicine night and day doctors need to have their license ripped away. I’m disgusted with how medical personnel treat people now days.

I have a bad pressure sore all the way to the femur and this place after only hour said "he's medically stable" and booted me out.
