I have never received such horrible care from a doctor. I would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be medicated with out even being told about the medication.

Only met Dr. Lim once, after that her office was hopelessly overbooked and had to reschedule my appointment multiple times. I can't prove motivation but all patients should be treated equally regardless what insurance carrier they have, and medi-cal reimbursement is not as generous apparently so it's entirely possible I got the shaft because of my insurance. In the interim, I went for blood work and a breathing test while waiting for her office to get authorization for a sleep apnea test too. The office wasn't competent enough to get the sleep test authorized, and I still don't have my results from those other tests. Why? Because two days before my December appointment Dr. Lim's office calls again. Not to reschedule, but to notify me she dropped my insurance carrier the previous OCTOBER! Yeah thanks for letting me know in a timely manner, meanwhile I'm still coughing up yellow goo out of my lungs and asthma is off the scale but hey why would we want to take good care of our patients right? That'd be a novel concept. So now I've got to hassle with my primary care doctor and insurance company to get ANOTHER pulmonologist referral approved and wait several more months coughing up yellow goo. Sorry Doc, but you and/or your staff are totally incompetent. 5/1/18 update Dr. Lim's office has for several months refused to give me access to my file and test results, at first they falsely claimed they couldn't find it now they're saying they found some but other portions of the file are still missing. The saga continues.

I find Dr Lim to be the most thorough and matter of fact physician I have ever encountered . She will explain procedures very patiently and in ways that you understand without confusing you with a lot of medical jargon. Dr Lim sees my mom and my mom only wants to see Dr Lim and nobody else. My experience is always positive with Dr Lim and her staff and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a wonderful pulmonologist. Maria V.

Horrible bedside manner. Sloppy with clinical judgement. More interested in socializing with other doctors than the patient. I would not recommend her to a family member.
