List of Affinity Medical Group's Reviews
This place is awful. My insurance assigned them to me as my primary care provider. I had to wait a week for a virtual screening, then a month for my first in-person physical. On the way to the physical I hit traffic. called to say I'd be 15 minutes late, couldn't get through their robot answering system. When I arrived 15 minutes late, I was told my appointment was canceled and I'd need to reschedule.I am now calling my insurance provider to demand to be assigned elsewhere.
I haven't experienced in problems with Affinity. As of today, going on three years, customer service has met every need in an expedient mannsr. It is the doctor's office where I have encountered problems. Thank you Affinity for reaching out to my doctors and guiding thwm in the appropriate steps to better serve their patient.
Warning, Specially to Seniors, They Never answer the phone, they put you on hold and then ask for your phone # and email to contact you later. this is unethical ( but legal ) way of gathering your information and capture you as a lead for marketing rather than answer your questions so you can choose to continue with working with them or not. i tired 5 times in different hour but the result was the same.
Horrible
Managed care at its worst. Constant runaround and “out of network”. Could be worse.
Que mal servicio, uno está pagando y le contestan mal y lo dejan largo tiempo en espera y aparte no quieren atender las llamadas en español.no recomiendo está Clinica.
Affinity Medical Group. Must be one of, if not THE worst choices one can make in the interest of their own health care. "Rita's" glowing review of their speedy approval process is SO contradictory and different to our experience that I've concluded that the review must be contrived and fake. Even the doctors that are actually providing treatment are expressing their frustration with Affinity's so-called approval "process". If you are signing up for an HMO health insurance you might do yourself a great favor by asking if/who they contract the approval process to and doing your research on them.
I have spent no less than 6 hours trying to be the middle woman between Affinity, a new OB's office and Health Net. Every step that is taken to get me to a new OB is done incorrectly taking me back to square one. Am 21 weeks pregnant, yet have not seen a doctor in two months because of this mess. Terribly disorganized on every level.
Affinity is causing me a great deal of unneeded stress in my life. I called them over a week ago to have them change my primary doctor so they could process a referral. My insurance is with Aetna and my referral network is with Affinty. Aetna called them as well to change my doctor. They told me it would take 3-5 business days to change over and to have my doctor drop to paper my referral request. Affinity will not approve my referral request and yet another phone call has to be made to see why they failed to change my doctor over and why they are denying my referral. I have told them repeatedly that this is an urgent referral and they need to take care of it STAT. Since the referral was urgent and I've now been waiting for two weeks for Affinity to do their part I'm more stressed out that I need to be. With the seriousness of this referral and Affinity being a medial network I thought they would take it a little more seriously. I am now having my doctor's office call to see if they can get them to do something. This has been by far a horrible experience. Thanks for the many sleepless nights you have caused in waiting for my appointment to happen. NOW I FIND OUT THEY CANCELLED MY INSURANCE IN ERROR! They had an old PPO that ended decades ago and a new HMO. They cancelled the active HMO and left the old PPO. Thus causing yet another week of delays and worry on my part. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!
Here is my story with Affinity:A year and a half ago, I was billed incorrectly by an urgent care center. It was billed as a regular visit when it was an urgent care visit, which should have been covered by Affinity. Affinity, as a result, did not cover my visit, and billed me for $330. I am unable to request that my doctor's office resend the bill correctly as it must be requested by Affinity, my medical group. So I have called them probably 9 times in the last year and a half, and every time it goes like this: They either tell me they can't help me and I have to talk to my medical office (which, like I said, the medical office requires that they deal directly with Affinity). Or they tell me they have talked to my doctor's office and the issue should be resolved and I should see a credit to my account within 45 days. This is the most frustrating, as it's happened now about five times that I am told this, I wait 45 days, no credit. I call Affinity, and the whole thing starts over again-- they either refuse to resolve it or claim that they have and that everything will be refunded in 45 days. 45 days later, nothing. I have spent a year and a half of my life going through this cycle, over and over again! And every time that I get more angry about it, they just assure me that this time it really will work. And it never does. It's unbelievable. I am now pretty certain that the $330 isn't even worth the time and stress I have spent on it and will probably just eat the costs. Affinity has the worst customer service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
