Alan Beyer's Online Review Report Card

If you find yourself in need of a knee surgeon I want you to consider Dr. Alan Beyer. He is a true pro who approaches total knee replacement like a fine artist. He is right there post surgery to answer any questions and handle any issues that might pop up. I felt privileged to have Dr. Beyer perform the surgery I had been putting off for a decade. Throughout that time of suffering Dr. Beyer never encouraged me to jump into the surgery but of course highly recommended it. I should have taken the surgery 10 years ago but, having had a knee surgery as a young man, I remembered how much it hurt so kept putting it off. When I was ready, Dr Beyer was ready as well. Three weeks after I made the decision I was in the operating room. Now it is 3 weeks later and I realize that his workmanship skills as a surgeon made this much less painful than my last knee operation and I am recovering nicely. If you need your knee fixed, I highly recommend Dr. Beyer. That is if you want the best of course. Also a big shoutout to Dr. Beyer's support staff. They were very attentive and had great follow through. I can honestly say I had zero frustration in my interactions with the entire Hoag Orthopedic Institute organization.  Home health, in home nursing and physical therapy professionals, all did excellent work on my behalf. Thank you to Dr. Beyer and his entire team for making this highly stressful event as comfortable as possible.

Finding the the right Orthopedic Surgeon was at the top of my list. As an active senior with no health issues before my knee injury, thankfully I found Dr. Beyer! His medical team is highly professional and office staff make every visit a pleasure. Dr. Beyer has an impressive resume with over 40 years in his field. I highly recommend Dr. Beyer to anyone seeking an Orthopedic Doctor!

I've been Dr. Beyers' patient for over 15 years. He knows what he's doing and he's pleasant to be around. His staff is very capable and available to help answer questions.

Great first consultation meeting with Dr. Beyer on 01/27/2022. Went in to see Dr. Beyer for my right knee which has a partially torn meniscus, some arthritis and a small Byers cyst. I had an MRI done before my consultation, and brought the disc and report. They did an X-ray on both knees when I was there. I was very impressed with the receptionists, Dr. Beyer’s nurse, medical assistant and PA…not to mention Dr. Beyer himself who was outstanding! He is very kind and sweet and has EXCELLENT bedside manners. A very caring and excellent doctor! Dr. Beyer explained the course of treatment I would receive, based on my overall situation and images. I received a cortisone shot and will be back in 2 weeks for follow up. I highly recommend him.

Great surgeon, one of the best. The email and online follow up and lead up to surgery is outstanding as well. Incredibly efficient and well done from start to finish. The only thing is if you want personal attention and to build a one on one relationship with your surgeon, this practice may not be the best fit. Very busy doctor, most things are handled by physician assistants, etc.

I have been a patient of Dr. Beyer since 1996 and he has performed miracles on a knees that has been thrown around all over this world whether it be sports related or degenerative loss of cartilage!I highly recommend Dr. Beyer as he is knowledgeable and he will tell you like it is and give you the exact information you are in search of.
