Anjali Gupta's Online Review Report Card

I booked an appointment for preventative care, and my annual check up, as well as a consult about HRT. It took 1.5 months to get to the doctor, and the front office wasn't particularly friendly when I made the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, despite being friendly myself, the front desk was officious, curt...but my family is full of physicians, and I assumed everyone was having a bad day, and brushed it off. When I met Dr. Gupta, I was similarly friendly, as I am with all doctors, but Dr Gupta was oddly cold, and unhelpful. She did not perform an exam of any kind. And did not offer any info about HRT that I hadn't read on the internet. I had hoped she would provide a more specific and nuanced reply to my questions, but she merely repeated the same information, as if she were irritated by the questions. The practice website states that HRT is a speciality, and yet, Dr. Gupta's manner was abrupt and unhelpful. I had made time in my schedule and waited several weeks to see her and was told I would have to return for my annual checkup. So, the office charged insurance $275 for an office visit, and then sent me a bill for the copay. I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt, and perhaps this was a mistake and an oversight, but given that I called the practice multiple times to discuss the bill, and spoke directly with the person in charge at their billing company (who told me she'd have the office call me), and over a month has elapsed, and wrote an email that also remains unanswered, this feels like an obvious attempt to avoid dealing with a reasonable objection / questions re: how they run their practice. Again, perhaps an oversight (though their customer service is absolutely non existent) but this also seems like a great way to get two visits (and payments) out of one patient, when one visit was what I had planned on. And now, I must find another doctor to see for my annual/checkup, since I'm entirely displeased with how this visit transpired.

Unfortunately I was not able to being seen by Dr Gupta. However, her nurse Taylor was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable, patient, professional but friendly. She explained things clearly and super well.

I was a new patient. Office staff was pleasant, they were respectful of my time, and Dr. Gupta was very thorough and took the time to learn about me in order to provide the best care possible. Highly recommend!

Doctor Gupta was amazing. I highly recommend her. I had been putting this off for years and she was so sweet and reassuring. She is a wonderful Doctor, so knowledgeable and also recommended a bone density test.
