Assisting hands took great care of my stepdad. I started out with a previous company that made a lot of promises but didnt deliver. I met with Judy to see what her company had to offer. She absolutely delivered in every way. I spoke with Christina on the phone a few times to modify the schedule for caregivers. She was always extremely helpful and aware of our needs. I would highly recommend hiring Assisting Hands for your home care needs.

Ive been working as a caregiver since 2002 and I worked with a lot of different Home Care companies in both LA and Orange counties. Assisting Hands in Newport Beach is really the one I always feel like Im a big part of the company. I had a very positive experience with the agency from meeting the owner to receiving excellent care from the caregivers. Charlene was very knowledgeable in ways to help me recover from hip surgery. Cristina was always friendly efficient to meet my requests for help.

The office staff is excellent and very responsive thank you Cristina Esther and Judy and quickly addressed any concerns or needs we had. If this places calls you for an interview and you are not Philipino then DO NOT bother going. I had a good friend that worked for them and got me in contact with them. We spoke numerous times in regards to me turning in all necessary documentation for work. They asked me to begin on the day I was going in. I had poor judgement and quit my job anticipating working that same day through them. Once I showed up the entire office was Philipino and began staring at me. They asked me for my green card I told them I was a US citizen born and raised in California gave my license and social they then replied “Well people can buy social security cards” I was extremely offended but still kept my cool. I called to follow up and was told “We have your number we’ll call you.” Mind you I have the voicemail where they stayed they wanted me to begin that same day and Work the weekend. It’s sad how real discrimination is.

We went through 3 dishonest tainted companies before meeting the owner of assisting hands and hiring them to care for my grandmother. This company is honest caretakers are gentle kind and professional and I am finally at ease knowing she is safe and getting reliable help. So far we are pleased.
