Au Bui, Md's Online Review Report Card

Beyond thankful Dr. Bui saved my husband's life. He had a hernia. The intestines had severed part of his colon. He has given a very small chance of survival. Dr. Bui surgically removed the infected area, which was quite large. He was left with a large open wound that required a wound vac for a few months. My Husband survived and is healthy. I give Dr. Bui all the credit. He is a miracle worker. I am beyond thankful.

Dr. Bui was the emergency room surgeon when my grandfather went in with severe stomach pain. (It ended up being a twisted and blocked small bowel/intestine) he was released from the hospital with instructions to hopefully allow it to settle itself. He had a couple of follow up appointments with Dr. Bui where they decided to schedule surgery since it wasn't improving. Dr. Bui was so incredibly attentive, professional and kind during this whole process. I think most people can attest to the fact that it's a bit scary having an older family member go in for surgery. We cannot have asked for him to be in better hands than he was in. The surgery went the way it was planned without incident and I'm happy to say my grandfather is recovering well! I'm so happy that it just so happened to be Dr. Bui that was on his ER shift that night! Also, Lorraine was so sweet during the whole process and we felt so comfortable dealing with her.

Sooooo, as I am sitting in the ER and waiting on a call for an emergency appendectomy, Dr. Bui arrived. He was professional, delightful and sensible. The Hoag team and Dr. Bui worked with my sensitivities to medications and a mutually agreed treatment plan for after care. Everything went extremely smoothly. I recommend making a follow up appointment, as requested.

Dr Bui is amazing!Count yourself lucky when you finally get to him.I was in pain and uncomfortable for 8 months with gallbladder symptoms, but unable to get any help from any of the specialists including my own personal physician. ( who thought I just had anxiety during this Covid Pandemic and started treating me with that instead of actually listening to me and realizing something was wrong )All my CT Scans, Ultrasound, bloodwork, and physical exam were normal but I was in pain and horribly nauseous every day.Randomly through the chain of events I got connected to Dr Bui, who was able to see my previous labs, CT Scan, Ultrasound, and whatever else, where he diagnosed me with Gallbladder/Biliary Dyskensia.Needless to say he removed my gallbladder, and the incisions/holes are so minuscule and healing well, I’m no longer in pain under my ribs nor nauseous. His bedside manner and his exam were entirely professional and comfortable.... like an old friend helping you out.I would recommend Dr Bui for any surgical procedure he is certified to do.I’m forever Team Dr Bui 😊

My wife is a patient and has not received a call back 6 days post op. Tomorrow will be day 3 without a call back. very unprofessional.

Dr. Au Bui is a first class surgeon. He performed Laparoscopic surgery in removing my Gallbladder. I was active the next day and felt great. Dr. Bui is very friendly, takes his time in thoroughly explaining what will be taking place. You won't find any better. The office is first class as is his staff. Parking plentiful and convenient.
