List of Babak N. Rad's Reviews
Greatest surgery experience I've every had. Dr. Rad is very professional and gentle. He was very informative about what he was doing and gave me the best quality of care I could possibly ask for.
Dr. Rad is very professional and his staff is extraordinary with service.. they treated me with the highest level of care that money can pay for. My surgery went very well just like he explained from the very first appointment.
This man is very personable, professional and caring. He presented me with a cohesive, clear description of my condition. He presented surgical and nonsurgical options and his opinion of a prognosis for each option. He projects a special type of trust and competence. The world needs more physicians/surgeons like Dr. Rad.
I highly recommend Dr. Rad. I have been his patient for almost one year. He got me through a difficult surgery and I am doing very well because of him. His skill and professionalism are above reproach. I credit him for extending my life. Thank you Dr. Rad! Gloria Marie
While Dr Rad might be board certified and a accomplished Doc, their administrative staff is so messed up there that it isn't worth going. My first appointment- Dr Rad ran 45 minutes late on an 8am appointment- The FIRST appointment of the day. The second appointment a follow up, scheduled at their office by their office. I leave work early and do my part and show up 15 mins early. They didn't even log my appointment in their schedule and sent me home without honoring it. Their patient's time obviously means nothing. they have zero respect for their patients time and the gas money that it takes to drive there and back . The simply don't give a **** about their patients and you should see a Doctor that takes your health seriously.
I can’t thank Dr Rad enough. He saved my wife’s life when she had already seen many specialists. He removed her entire large intestine.. at the beginning he was maybe complicated and slightly arrogant, but it turned out for the good .. he used the same energy to pull out all the stops and do what was needed.. to save my wife.. ( I remember in his office he cracked a joke that she had a very expensive a$$, plus an ileostomy meant there would be no more poop and link .. he does have a very quirky and warm human side .. he’s fun when you get to know him, full of off the wall jokes/comments that take you by surprise .. the office workers ( Rebecca) were the same really.. cold at first, then extremely helpful where they would go out of their way to help. This period was one of the most significant times I have gone through .. Dr Rad saved my wife’s life and I will always be grateful for that.
Took about two months to schedule a time with his assistant. She was so very difficult to schedule. After two months when I saw him, told me he is very busy and does not have very much time to spend with me. Why did he say that after two months waiting to see him? Why does he have a more understanding to realize I am there because of his background? It is about a number of patients he wants to see, to not about the patient and patients' needs. It is about money not patients. Not reommanded
Dr. Rad is the best, hands down! I went to see him for a colonoscopy. The procedure didn't have the desired outcome we were hoping for so we resorted to plan B. Dr. Rad clearly articulated the three options available to me. I slept on it for one night and elected for the most invasive option and the one that would fix my problem completely. But, that came with pain and risks. Dr. Rad explained in detail what the road ahead of me was going to be like. He made no bones about it. The good news was that when I healed and the pain was gone, I would feel 100% better. I listened intently to everything Dr. Rad told me to do and followed it to a T. The recovery was brutal but I felt like it would have been worse if Dr. Rad hadn't thoroughly prepared my mental game ahead of time. This point cannot be stressed enough. My procedure was in December 2021 and after three or four follow ups Dr. Rad gave me my walking papers and I have never felt better since. I 100% recommend Dr. Rad to anyone that may be in need of his skill set. Thank you Dr. Rad for giving me my quality of life back! You're truly Rad...
Dr. Rad is an excellent physician. He knows his stuff and is a good listener. I appreciate his collaborative approach toward healthcare. He has a busy practice and can be a little challenging to get in to see so plan ahead.
I was seeing another doctor for my problem for about a year, with no success. I was referred to Dr. Rad, who suggested a conservative treatment at first, which relieved many of the symptoms but ultimately did not solve the problem. Surgery was the last option & I must say it appears to have done the trick. Recovery, which was described to me as "What-was-I-thinking-of-pain," was not as awful as I expected & frankly, pretty easy. I find Dr. Rad to be kind, knowledgeable & responsive to questions. In fact, near the end of every visit, I heard him ask "Questions for me?" I would definitely recommend him.P.S. I can't believe there is a section for attaching photos for a proctologist. Can you imagine?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
