I took my special needs (developmentally delayed <br>Son to see Dr. Aisha for very high BP. I was impressed in the first few minutes when he said we're going to get to the bottom of this! Then he <br>said..I always figure it out!!! Finally a Dr who IS <br>A HEALER not a script writer!!! I'm old and have met with many Dr's and specialists over the years for family and myself and I have NEVER been so impressed ever!!!!
This has been long time coming. There has not been a single time where I didnt wait less than an hour. The front staff, I hate to say that but no other word describes it better, is psychotic. They must hate their job or they hate people. Sometimes you see them in a better mood but mostly it is quite the opposite. Doctor, yeah very confident and arrogant. Being a doctor should not mean "think you are better and know everything". There is no one that knows it all. There is more to say about the office but I leave it at that. Why is there no "no star" rating, well I guess I have to click 1star.
Absolutely the top in his field!! PERIOD! Your health is not something that you want checked at a fast or even moderate rate of speed so, those who say that there's a wait well, you can have a fast doctor which comes with missed or wrong diagnoses or you can have A GREAT DOCTOR, Dr. Aish is a great doctor who has the skills, ability, and mindset and actually cares about the wellbeing of his patients. <br>There is no other doctor to go to for the only life you have, I am personally thankful for the attention, manners, and professionalism that I receive each and every time I walk into his office.<br>Thank you again Dr Aish and to your staff for all the personal care that you give! <br>Jerry C.
Dr. Aish is amazing and so are his front desk ladies and nurses!! This is my 6th appointment and I have NEVER waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. <br>Within 10 minutes I'm called back by Nurse Miguel or Nurse Jenny and they take my vitals and chart the reason for my visit and then within 15 minutes Dr. Aish is in the room. He assesses my issues and talks with me about the solutions and medications. Scripts are electronically transferred to my local pharmacy and are usually ready by the time I leave the office. <br>Dr Aish and his staff are efficient and make me feel most welcome. I hated going to the doctor before I became part of the Beach Physicians Medical Group Family!!
I have never not had a bad experience here. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Aish is a fine doctor, but whats the point in making an appointment for 10:45, if you arent even in a room by 12:00? This place has the worst waiting times I've ever experienced at a doctors office and I dread coming in. Do yourself a favor and change your primary care physician.
If you want to be guaranteed to wait over an hour and a half every time you come, he's the man for you. I have nothing against Dr. Aish himself, it's just so frustrating to have to wait this long every single time I've been here.
Waits are long but it's because he is a good doctor and the PA is really good too. From my asthma to my sports injuries, they have been awesome. I usually have to leave a message when I call for appointment but they have been fairly prompt at calling back AND getting me in last minute. Today was a perfect example: called last minute for a snowboard injury not healing and they took me RIGHT AWAY! And it's a good thing that I did call because it turns out I probably have a rotator cuff tear in my shoulder (not a strain, as I thought. Lol) as far as the front office people, I have never had a bad experience. They have always been nice and attentive.
Decent doctor, however this is completely overshadowed by horrible staff and office management. The wait times are atrocious, I usually have to wait 11.5 hours in order to see the doctor . Never have I waited less than that of the 6 times I've been here. Also, the receptionists never answer the phone when calling to make an appointment. Not once have they picked up. I always have to leave a message and wait for them to call me back, which usually happens while I am at work later in the day so I have to call them back and play telephone tag for 23 days before I can actually get my appointment scheduled. I intend to change doctors once I am finished being seen for my current issue.
This doctors office is ridiculous with the wait times. I have not been here and been out within 1.5 to 2 hours. He seems like he knows what he is talking about but who has the time to sit around for hours for a doctors appt. I believe when you make an appointment thats the time you should be seen, if not it should just be a first come first serve basis.
Dr. Is highly recommended for sports medicine which is why I am here, but the wait times here are ridiculous. I had a 3:45 appointment and waited an hour to be seen by him. Sorry Doc, I definitely believe in you and your skills as a doctor but these wait times? Really? Something needs to be done about this. I would love to give you 5 stars but I am currently sitting in this exam room now for over an hour and I am ready to just leave and search for another Doctor.
This guy is incompetent. My daughter had a raging sinus infection that went undiagnosed and untreated for 7 months, he would dismiss her symptoms and just gave her allergy pills...She finally asked for a referral to a Ear, Nose and Throat doctor who was shocked to see her middle ear completely infected.<br>Find another physician, he's worthless.
DR. BASSIL AISH SENT ME HOME TO DIE RATHER THAN SEND ME TO THE HOSPITAL! READ ON FOR MORE DETAILS! Finally felt the need to write a review of a Doctor. If you have ever come into see Bassil Aish for anything serious you might have seen that look he gives you that tells you he has no idea what is wrong with you. In April of 2011 I saw Mr. Aish with shortness of breath a rapid heartbeat and swelling of the ankles hands and face. Not being a Doctor myself I had no idea that I was experiencing congestive heart failure and should have been sent to the ER right away and guess what? Neither did Mr. Aish! Rather than send me to the hospital he made an appointment for me in another week and a half time. When the time came for my appointment is felt to ill to see him and went to the hospital myself where they informed me in less than a half an hour I needed a heart valve replacement immediately! The attending Doctor was shocked I had been under a Doctor's care only the week before! Not only that but I had been a regular patient of Mr. Aish for 7 to 8 years. A technician informed me later that a first year medical student would have picked this up without a problem mimicking the sounds the valve makes in my former condition and as I said I had been a patient for many years! The only reason I couldn't take him to court for malpractice is I survived! Lucky me that I took the initiative to go to the hospital myself. Bottom line the guys a quack and shouldn't have a medical license! That's why I refer to him as Mr. Aish.
Okay so yet another bad experience with this office. They never pick up the phone and trying to schedule an appointment is like pulling teeth. I'm going to look for someplace else to spend my money.
He's been my doctor now for a couple of years. I don't usually go to the doctor, but my most recent experience is they are very accommodating, and got me in immediately when I told them my kidney's were hurting (turns out I had a kidney infection!). Dr. Aish has great bed side manner and isn't just going to write a prescription to get you out of his hair. You can tell things are straightforward, but I don't feel like I can't ask questions and he always asks if I have any. The staff is attentive, I have only waited a long time once, but I understand that sometimes a patient needs to come in to see the doctor right away (like in my situation) which may affect others/my wait time. I would recommend him to everyone!
I'm not the most important guy in the world, but I place a lot of value on my time. This establishment, does not appear to place the same importance on my time. Consistent long waits. And then they flip if I am ever a few minutes late. I will be taking my business to an establishment that values my time.
I have had 56 appointments with Dr. Aish and never have I had to wait less than an hour. I recently started seeing the PA there who is apparently slightly less busy than the real doctor. Recently I was 20 minutes late to an appointment and was denied. I explained that I always get put in a room and wait quite awhile before the doctor or PA comes so that my showing up 20 minutes late literally does not affect the time at which I would have been seen. I mentioned how long the waits always are and was told by the office desk girl that she usually waits 11.5 hours. Obviously I have higher standards than she does. My neighbor recently changed doctors from Aish for other reasons that left her dissatisfied with the service and care. I won't be returning to this place.
They don't return the phone calls. It is been over a week and still waiting. It is a long wait so I like the nurse better than the doctor. I think we'll change doctors.
First time coming here. As the other reviewers mention the wait is horrible. I don't understand why not book longer appointments to prevent longer patient wait times. My appointment was 10:30. It's been over an hour and I still haven't seen the doctor. I'm sure he's great but I don't have all day to sit here for an appointment. I even scheduled a morning appointment. If he's already playing catch up at the am I can't imagine how bad it would be in the evening. The staff was not pleasant either. They seem like they had better things to so than to tend to new patients.
Great guy. Worst wait times still. I talked to the staff last appointment about it and 11 months later same issue. In the exam room as I type. Been here for an hour and a half and still no doc. This is my last ride with this office.
Alot of these reviewers have knocked off some stars for the wait. If he wasn't such a good doctor there would be no wait. He's so popular because he's so good. I've learned to just get there 30 minutes early and it's fine. Oh and by the way, part of the reason for the wait time is because he doesn't rush his patients. All the people who gave negative reviews because of the wait should ask themselves a question. How much time is he spending with me once he gets in the room with me? Answer: ALOT! He takes his time with everyone and really listens.
