List of Citrus Valley Physicians Group's Reviews
If you called off work for a doctors appointment and this is your first visit, I recommend cancelling and finding another doctor.Citrus Valley Family Practice WILL not see you on your first visit. Why? Company policy states they need to "get to know" you first. In other words, fill out their patient history form via in person. However, It is unfair to make somebody take a day off work simply to fill out paperwork you could have just emailed over. Plus, why can't we fill the paperwork and proceed with doctor appointment? Why does this need to be separated into 2 different days? What they fail to realize is that many of us aren't so fortunate to take leisurely days off of work. I waited 3 weeks and called off work to get a physical exam only to be told that I need to make another appointment before I can get the physical done. Not only that, they informed me on the day of visit that I'll need another day of lab work before I can schedule my physical. That's 3 days off from work. I think Citrus Valley Family Practice should re-visit their appointment-making policies for the sake of the working class people who don't have the ability to leisurely take days off work.
How do you guys only take the first 5 patients for the day from 8 to 815 and if your not the first ones then you have to wait a month for an appointment! Very inconsiderate I’m changing medical groups ASAP
PRIMARY CARE Do you take that phrase seriously? Three years ago, I had my right leg amputated above the knee. My fault. I am responsible for my own stupidity. During my stint in Rehab Care another amputee gave me some advice. First, I'm going to fall. I thought that was a given. Second, I would receive offers of help from some of the most unlikely sources. Hundreds of offers. The offers come because the third piece of advice was the most important. Do the work. Do your part.I have partners in my health care at Citrus Valley Medical. Partners that I truly feel put primary care at the heart of every visit. From the front desk, to the back office, the medical assistants and Drs Kimberly Minesinger and Laura Nieves. My questions are always answered, concerns are always addressed and conversations are always friendly. But I do my part. I tell them the truth, I follow their instructions. I know what my health plan covers. I take my role in the partnership seriously and I am rewarded with people who care. They are the best. Are you doing your part?
This physician medical group is the most unprofessional medical group I ever been managed under. The representatives are even rude and unprofessional to the insurance company i.e. Healthnet. They lack respect and basic human decency for their patients and the insurance company that pays them. Patients deserve better and because there really isn't a way to hold these organizations accountable they get away with putting patients health at risk because of their dereliction of duty. Note to future patient - - Please avoid this organization you deserve better healthcare than what this organization can provide.
The doctor barely speaks a word of English. extremely difficult to understand him. Also I was shocked that he didn't know what part of the body is called MCL. The office manager who must be related to him as they share the same name, was a hard worker and tried her best even though there was a lot of miss communication due to children's crying in the background as I was talking to her on the phone.
I just love everyone there. I've been a part of this group for almost 20 years.
Absolutely love it here, Tanya Halper is my doc and she is fabulous. She actually listens and is genuinely nice. Office staff is so awesome as well!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
