If you called off work for a doctors appointment and this is your first visit, I recommend cancelling and finding another doctor.Citrus Valley Family Practice WILL not see you on your first visit. Why? Company policy states they need to "get to know" you first. In other words, fill out their patient history form via in person. However, It is unfair to make somebody take a day off work simply to fill out paperwork you could have just emailed over. Plus, why can't we fill the paperwork and proceed with doctor appointment? Why does this need to be separated into 2 different days? What they fail to realize is that many of us aren't so fortunate to take leisurely days off of work. I waited 3 weeks and called off work to get a physical exam only to be told that I need to make another appointment before I can get the physical done. Not only that, they informed me on the day of visit that I'll need another day of lab work before I can schedule my physical. That's 3 days off from work. I think Citrus Valley Family Practice should re-visit their appointment-making policies for the sake of the working class people who don't have the ability to leisurely take days off work.
How do you guys only take the first 5 patients for the day from 8 to 815 and if your not the first ones then you have to wait a month for an appointment! Very inconsiderate I’m changing medical groups ASAP
PRIMARY CARE Do you take that phrase seriously? Three years ago, I had my right leg amputated above the knee. My fault. I am responsible for my own stupidity. During my stint in Rehab Care another amputee gave me some advice. First, I'm going to fall. I thought that was a given. Second, I would receive offers of help from some of the most unlikely sources. Hundreds of offers. The offers come because the third piece of advice was the most important. Do the work. Do your part.I have partners in my health care at Citrus Valley Medical. Partners that I truly feel put primary care at the heart of every visit. From the front desk, to the back office, the medical assistants and Drs Kimberly Minesinger and Laura Nieves. My questions are always answered, concerns are always addressed and conversations are always friendly. But I do my part. I tell them the truth, I follow their instructions. I know what my health plan covers. I take my role in the partnership seriously and I am rewarded with people who care. They are the best. Are you doing your part?
This physician medical group is the most unprofessional medical group I ever been managed under. The representatives are even rude and unprofessional to the insurance company i.e. Healthnet. They lack respect and basic human decency for their patients and the insurance company that pays them. Patients deserve better and because there really isn't a way to hold these organizations accountable they get away with putting patients health at risk because of their dereliction of duty. Note to future patient - - Please avoid this organization you deserve better healthcare than what this organization can provide.
The doctor barely speaks a word of English. extremely difficult to understand him. Also I was shocked that he didn't know what part of the body is called MCL. The office manager who must be related to him as they share the same name, was a hard worker and tried her best even though there was a lot of miss communication due to children's crying in the background as I was talking to her on the phone.
I just love everyone there. I've been a part of this group for almost 20 years.

Absolutely love it here, Tanya Halper is my doc and she is fabulous. She actually listens and is genuinely nice. Office staff is so awesome as well!
I have been with them for 20 years and have never had anything but a great experience. Bill is the BEST!!!!
I always appreciate the short wait time and the care & attention that I receive from Dr. Pat and her team.
Bill Pollock at Citrus Valley Family practice is awesome. I have been going there for years the office staff are rock stars
Dr. Bill is very easy to talk to and always makes us feel comfortable and never rushed. He answers all our questions in detail. The office staff is amazing!
Very good visit. Dr Pat takes her time and listens to you when you have an issue. Victoria always returns your calls when you need info.
I can't even begin to tell you how great and informative my experience has been! As we know, navigating through all this insurance stuff can be daunting!! Well, I emailed Ms Correa at CVP Group and I can tell you my anxiety is GONE!! She could not have been more helpful and nice! Emailing for me is so much better as everything is documented and you can look back at the emails and see what you need to do. She took the time to totally explain everything, send me names and locations of 3 diff Doctors I needed! We need more people like Ms Correa who truly takes the time to HELP someone. She did not leave me hanging for 1 day, 2 days..etc.....she got back to me right away!!! No waiting!! I am so very thankful to her for helping me get on the right path and her allowing me to contact her anytime I need help...this truly means so much. Please know CVP Group has kind, caring people who will help you, tell you exactly what you need to do and they GO that extra mile!!! Again, thank you to Ms Correa without her help I would still be lost!!! CVP Group---you guys are the best!!!
Awful awful awful. They NEVER pick up the phone. I've been trying to get an appointment for a week!!!! Disgusting.
If you have to call for assistance, good luck! Everytime I've had to call for a referral, Dr. info, they don't have the patience to listen. The last time I talked to someone named Jennifer, she was talking over me with no patience, was rude and condescending.I might have to change my medical group.
Not happy with them. Do not recommend them, especially to new patients. Save your time and money
I could go on and on about the doctors and service at Citrus Valley Family Practice, but the real reason I'm writing this review is because of the nursing staff. Never before have I experienced such a genuine level of compassion and understanding from a medical assistant, specifically a lovely woman named Sara (Dr. Suhr's assistant) who treated me with the utmost respect and kindness as I began my search for treatment. Not only did she comfort me, making me feel valued and heard, she offered to be the immediate point of contact, answering all of my questions and making the process of paperwork seem easy. Without a doubt, I would not be nearly as comfortable seeking medical help if I hadn't had such a positive experience with Sara. There are so many doctors and nurses out there, it's a relief to find someone as attentive and dedicated as she is to her patients.
DANIEL SUHR has been my PA for over 13 years. I have never once felt ignored, mislead, or mistreated. he truly cares about his patient's and wants the best for us. He will try and save you money by giving you alternatives to your situation. He is straight forward and has a great dry sense of humor. His intelligence level is off the charts. my family is truly blessed to have him in our lives.
