I don’t normally write reviews and this one is very late as my surgery was in 2010. I have been thinking, however, about how lucky I am to survive Stage 3 breast cancer! Thank you Dr Coleman!! She is such a gracious and amazing surgeon. I now have 3 amazing grandchildren and another on the way!! I recommend her highly, and may God continue to bless her!!

My wife went in for what was thought to be a routine lipoma surgery. She went out with a hernia repair - a miss-diagnosis. Post-op instruction was: take it easy for 4-6 weeks, then resume normal activity. It has been 5 months, and recovery is not complete. E.R visit, multiple (other) doctor visits, and multiple P.T. appointments we are still trying to heal. "Resuming normal activity" is not an option at this time. We are incredibly frustrated, and we paid a tremendous amount of money out of pocket. We have written letters and phoned multiple times without results.

Dr. Coleman is an excellent surgeon and wonderful human being. So grateful for her expertise.

Dr Coleman is is kind and you feel her amazing grace when you are in the room with her. I feel lucky to have had her do my breast cancer surgery.

Because of Dr. Coleen Coleman, today I am five years cancer free!! I had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and with her guidance and skilled surgery on 10/9/17, I am able today...to say Thank You Dr. Coleman for your professionalism and steady hands which bought me another five years today. I am truly blessed.

She is a very nice lady but I was damaged during surgery by her and her anesthesiologist. I can barely speak, I've waited a year to leave this review but my vocal cords are broken or twisted or something. My independent voice specialist said that my vitamin C was not monitored. I also have a tremor that has not gone away after a year. I would have been better off if I had not had the surgery at Hoag with Dr. Coleman and her team. I went in feeling young and now it's like I'm an old woman. Everyone asks "what's wrong with you?" Even my dermatologist was horrified. Unfortunately Hoag doctors all protect each other and the one she sent me to said it was from Botox. I had not had Botox ever, yet actually wrote that in my file anyway. That is Dr. Feinberg, a throat specialist, what a woman hating creep. Stay away from both.

Dr. Coleman was personable and had already looked through my previous procedures so she was prepared for my appointment. Even though the problem didn't appear to be gall stones, (recently diagnosed) she had a booklet on that organ she went over with me. She gave me what I needed, a description of the discomfort I would feel and where if my gall stones did start presenting a problem. I was relieved to know what to expect and how to handle it when, or if, it does happen. Very pleased with this first visit & I am thrilled to know who to go to if I need this type of help.

I went to Dr Coleman for a second opinion regarding breast cancer. She spent an hour with me explaining in detail about the procedure and potential results and treatment. This was after my first consultation which was less than fifteen minutes! She also calls to talk to you before and after surgery. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful, caring doctor she is! If I could give her ten stars, I would.

Dr. Coleman is an incredible doctor. She is a true profesional. She has a lot of patience and takes her time to explain what she’s doing. I had many doubts going into surgery and she was very respectful about my concerns and took the time to talk to me and help me understand my surgery. I highly recommend her to everyone because her work was phenomenal. Even after my surgery she checked up on me multiple times. Anyone under her care is in the best hands out there.
