Because of Dr. Coleen Coleman, today I am five years cancer free!! I had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and with her guidance and skilled surgery on 10/9/17, I am able today...to say Thank You Dr. Coleman for your professionalism and steady hands which bought me another five years today. I am truly blessed.

She is a very nice lady but I was damaged during surgery by her and her anesthesiologist. I can barely speak, I've waited a year to leave this review but my vocal cords are broken or twisted or something. My independent voice specialist said that my vitamin C was not monitored. I also have a tremor that has not gone away after a year. I would have been better off if I had not had the surgery at Hoag with Dr. Coleman and her team. I went in feeling young and now it's like I'm an old woman. Everyone asks "what's wrong with you?" Even my dermatologist was horrified. Unfortunately Hoag doctors all protect each other and the one she sent me to said it was from Botox. I had not had Botox ever, yet actually wrote that in my file anyway. That is Dr. Feinberg, a throat specialist, what a woman hating creep. Stay away from both.

Dr. Coleman was personable and had already looked through my previous procedures so she was prepared for my appointment. Even though the problem didn't appear to be gall stones, (recently diagnosed) she had a booklet on that organ she went over with me. She gave me what I needed, a description of the discomfort I would feel and where if my gall stones did start presenting a problem. I was relieved to know what to expect and how to handle it when, or if, it does happen. Very pleased with this first visit & I am thrilled to know who to go to if I need this type of help.

I went to Dr Coleman for a second opinion regarding breast cancer. She spent an hour with me explaining in detail about the procedure and potential results and treatment. This was after my first consultation which was less than fifteen minutes! She also calls to talk to you before and after surgery. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful, caring doctor she is! If I could give her ten stars, I would.

Dr. Coleman is a wonderful surgeon. She performed emergency surgery on my son. She was thoughtful, provided great detail about the procedure, and very happy with the outcome of surgery.

Dr. Coleman is an incredible doctor. She is a true profesional. She has a lot of patience and takes her time to explain what she’s doing. I had many doubts going into surgery and she was very respectful about my concerns and took the time to talk to me and help me understand my surgery. I highly recommend her to everyone because her work was phenomenal. Even after my surgery she checked up on me multiple times. Anyone under her care is in the best hands out there.

Dr. Coleman sat down next to me and explained everything, from blood results through surgical procedure. She took the time to make sure I understood and pushed through necessary orders so my procedure could be schedule right after my appointment. Her staff was friendly, helpful, and I did not feel rushed.

Dr. Coleman performed emergency surgery for my son on Oct. 20, 2020, late Friday into early Saturday morning and called me with results at 1:32AM. Surgery went very well, Dr. Coleman provided great care, details to me about the surgery, and managed his post-op care. Wonderful doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Colleen Coleman was recommended by three friends independent from one another (including two doctors whom we know) to tackle my wife's bilateral neck dissection for metastisiced thyroid cancer. We were absolutely terrified at first, but knew we were in good hands. Dr. Coleman spends the necessary time with her patients and often has to deliver difficult news, so there can be a wait. Must surgeons would just rush you through. Getting through this surgery was of course emotionally and physically demanding, so this was important. The surgery went smoothly. Dr. Coleman set us up with an oncologist and endocrinologist whom are also each at the top of their game. Nine months post-operation, my wife's cancer is under control due to Dr. Coleman's follow-ups. High-dose radiation took care of the thyroid cancer in her lungs, which is showing no signs of recurring, and the slim surgical scar across her neck is fading fast. Dr Coleman's skill is evident in how faint the scar is and continues
