An amenable cardiologist Dr. Darel Benvenuti is a very amenable doctor, willing to listen, and takes the time to give clear explanations. The doctor had recommended numerous in depth tests to better know my condition. His recommendations are easy to understand and without pressure, if patient is taking them under advisement, leaving one with a sense of confidence that he cares. The office staff is friendly and largely efficient, but difficult to access by phone, though they do return calls. I feel that I am in good hands.

Dr. Darel Benvenuti explains conditions & procedures clearly. He uses up to date treatments & is expert in prescribing medications. Patients are fortunate to have such professional & understanding care.

One of the worst doctors I have ever been referred to see. Had been on the same prescription for warfarin for 5-6 years. Dr Benvenuti di not communicate or answer my questions but was in a hurry to get through my first appointment. Changed my prescription to stronger dosage, why? My next INR was too high, he lowered it through the PA, then my INR was too low, they wanted to raise the dosage again. I asked to speak to the Doctor. The PA said she asked the doctor and he had stated just do what he said. I demanded to speak with him and he refused. I stated I would seek further counsel and no longer would be seeing Dr Benvenuti. He sent a letter saying he would no longer see me due to a difference of opinion. I replied to his letter by registered mail but have received no response. If you value your health avoid him at all costs.. No patient skills and dangerous prescribing a dangerous medicine, and refusing to talk other than through the PA..

Called to get my annual check up and they show the last time I was there was in 2015, SCARY! I Have gone there every year for the last 20 years! I guess I'll be changing doctors!!!

I only saw Dr. Benvenuti a few times and had no complaints. But his office is run badly. One time, I took off work, drove all the way to his office, and was told by the front desk that they'd put my appointment in the wrong place and I'd have to reschedule. They assured me, however, that the person who made the mistake had been fired, as if it mattered. They made no attempt to see if the doctor could see me anyway. Another time, I asked them to fax me a copy of my 11-page file for an insurance claim dispute, and they wanted $35 to do so. Yuck. A good doctor does you no good if the office is run badly.

Dr. Darel Benvenuti has been my cardiologist for over 10 years. He is very smart, attentive, caring and a wonderful doctor/person. His staff is very kind, caring yet professional. I highly recommend him.

I am writing this from a daughters view point. I am not a physician or medical person yet I think my observations are important to know about when choosing a cardiologist for yourself or your loved ones. I should have written a review back in 2015 after my Mom passed away. June of 2015 was the first time I met him and I wanted to fire benvenuti as my Mom's heart dr after the initial appt with him. I cannot refer to him as a dr as he was horrible. I had asked questions about my Mom and what was going on with her heart. He was offended that I had questions being I was a mere mortal. I told my Mom let's get a second opinion about your surgery, as I didn't get the feeling he really cared about Mom. She didn't want to as he had been her heart doctor for 20 years plus. I did get a second opinion from a Cardio surgeon. We chose the new Dr for her valve replacement surgery as it was no longer an option to have a repair surgery. Of course this pissed off benvenuti. When he visited my Mom in the hospital he wouldn't even acknowledge me or answer my questions. As he was still her cardiologist at that point. I cannot go into all that went on with his horrible care after her surgery. The final straw came when I took her into see him, I said dr. she is still not walking and was having other issues, can you advise us? He said that is not my lane. I found another Cardiologist after that comment, even though Mom fought it. This amazing Cardiologist referred her to a Kidney specialist after seeing her blood work and seeing Mom, which benvenuti had also seen the day before. Mom had severe kidney issues, we rushed her to the hospital she died less than a week later at home surrounded by family in October of 2015. After over 20 plus years of having my parents as his patients he did not even bother to send a card to my Dad after Mom died. Yet her new Dr who had seen her for 10 short days, called my Dad and sent a card. I of course changed to the new Cardiologist for my Dad's care.

I find Dr. Darel Benvenuti to be friendly with an easy going manner. He always takes time to discuss my current condition and thoroughly explain his recommended course of treatment. He listens and asks questions to clarify. He is very observant and appears to be genuinely interested in me and in what I have to say. I would recommend him to anyone needing a cardiologist.

Comfortable with procedure. Had stent in right coronary artery.

Dr. Daryl B. is saving my life. Enough said.
