Emily at the front desk was so snippy! My mother was late to her appointment and she turns to the woman next to her and says "wanna see them?" the woman rudely says nope they are late and got up to walk away... We left upset did not bother reschedule. We will find new dr with hoag. NOT KIND IN THIS OFFICE!! Stay far away!

I just wanted to share with the public my experience with Dr. Salvay doing Cataract Surgery in both of my eyes. I'm at 1 week after my second surgery, I can surely say that my vision is perfect. I also learned a great deal about my eyes and about the technology and lenses Dr. Salvay is using. One of my eyes needed an astigmatism correction that went well. No doubt that it is a team effort: I did my part for few weeks in order to get the best measurements and Dr. Salvay did his best selecting my lenses and using a High Tech device to perform his surgery (lens removal, astigmatism correction and new fancy lens insertion). I currently do not need glasses (except sun glasses outside) and my long and short distance vision is perfect. I have no issues reading on my computer or car instruments. I can even read with no glasses the ingredients on food boxes. Life is good and all is well again. I strongly recommend Dr. Salvay for your vision needs.

Needless to say, I was nervous about having eye surgery. Dr. Salvay put me at ease. The surgery itself was a breeze…. I couldn’t believe it! Pain free and quick. My vision improved exponentially. I cannot believe I waited this long to get it done. Dr. Salvay is an outstanding surgeon…..he knows what he is doing & he does it well. I couldn’t be happier with the results (I can see clearly)!

Dr. Salvay is a tremendous physician and ophthalmologist. He was patient in hearing my concerns and was thorough in his workup. His staff was great as well, especially Dawn. I noticed that one of the reviews mentioned long wait times. This was not my experience, although I’d happily wait to see Dr. Salvay. Eyesight isn’t something you want to leave in the hands of just anyone, so if you can find a good ophthalmologist, they’re worth waiting to see. I recommend him to anyone needing comprehensive vision care!

I had some transient vision loss that I suspected was related to COVID-19. Dr. Salvay came to the same conclusion and we talked at length about the cause and what to look for should it recur. He was obviously very knowledgeable. He was very easy to talk to and took the time to clearly explain the findings. He had a genuinely warm and caring demeanor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Salvay and Salvay Vision

My cataract surgery was outstanding! He improved my vision in left eye from 20/200 to 20/40. Unbelievable, I never thought it would be such a game changer…Salvay is great. His office staff is also fantastic…Emily scheduled everything for me & the day after surgery said I would have an AHA moment soon….she was a prophet.

Staff is friendly and helpful, the doctor is often running late. His staff does all of the testing for the most part. I found him to be a bit condescending, possibly a bit of a mean streak, kept reminding me that I was getting older and our conditions get worse as we get older, suggested I was older even though he knew how old I was basically had the chart in his hands. Who would suggest someone is older? Great way to lose patients. He did not tell me my sight would be altered for some time after the appointment after being dilated. It was not a good experience. They did the testing so I know I don't need to go to an eye doctor for a long time so 3 stars is for the effort in completing the testing.

Beyond grateful to have been referred over to Dr. Salvay's office. His front task team was amazing and Emily went above and beyond to get me a quick appointment to get a overdue Stye drained (3 1/2 Weeks). From the first call, getting checked in, eye examination, meeting the staff, getting my stye drained, to talking with Dr. Salvay i felt very confident that this team was all on the same page and looking out for their patients in the best way possible. Hands down a wonderful experience and if anyone has any eye issues or nasty stye's to get drained or looked at don't hesitate to call Dr. Salvay's office.
