I had already been to Dr. Abrahm 6 years before and that was a good experience. My review is for this recent colonoscopy. My insurance company, Aetna, had screwed things up but Brenda was able to meet with them and straighten things out. the Dr. had very clear instructions for the prep clean out and a little kit. When I went in for the procedure everyone was VERY professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
I have spent over two decades with an eating disorder that require an Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal Medical Doctor. Upon my initial appointment 6/18/24 with Donald R. Abrahm, MD Inc. I’m already scheduled for Colonoscopy and am pleased to find empathy and understanding in my decades old condition(s) and the Office Staff are so competent.. so really refreshing. As I only post POSITIVE experiences (these days- it’s been a long battle since 1986) I’m pleased to prepare this post for others interested in seeking excellent medical care. Dr Abrahm and his colleague are amazing. I was in the hospital with a diverticulitis flare up that turned into a sepsis and they treated me without having to have surgery. Additionally I love how easy Dr Abrahm's colonoscopy prep is.
Dr. Abrams and his staff are efficient and caring. Things happened when they said they would. All involved were friendly and competent. They made my first colonoscopy a snap. Thanks, guys.
Dr. Abrahms & is staff were wonderful. I have known him for many years as I worked as a critical care nurse at Hoag. I've had 2 colonoscopies by him & am lucky to have such a good dr. taking care of me. I would highly recommend him.
This Dr. Is the best. I wouldn't go see anyone but him. 👋👍👍
This was my 1st colonoscopy and I was as nervous as I’m sure other 1st timers are LOL in any case Dr. Abraham’s staff was amazing from the folks who called to schedule my intake call with the Dr. to the Doc himself during our intake call everyone was awesome. The procedure itself …. well that was by far the easiest part and again handled with nothing but professionalism and kindness. Thanks again to everyone.
Dr. Abrahams gets FIVE STARS from me for finding a long overdue problem and fixing it that saved my colon and the care of his follow up and made sure that I didn't fall through the cracks during this COVID-19 epidemic. We did a Telemed which was easy, personal and safe. His office staff was very helpful and efficient from scheduling the initial appointment to the follow-up after. I found both Dr. Abrahams and his staff Excellent.
Dr Abrahm saved my life, i had internal bleeding from a previous procedure done by a different doctor and was admitted to the hospital, dr Abrahm was called and performed surgery at 2:30 in the morning on a sunday, he stopped the bleeding and i have been doing great since, I very highly recommend this doctor to anyone who needs a good gastroenterologist for any reason. Thank you Dr Abrahm for your dedication and professionalism towards your patients and non patients in need.
Dr. Abrahm has been my GI specialist for many years. During that time he has won many awards. He was instrumental in diagnosing my case of Non-Alcoholic Steatic Hepatitis and referring me to UCLA for a liver transplant. One night, two years before my transplant, he saved my life in the ER. I was bleeding internally from gastric problem related to NASH. Subsequently, he coordinated my care with UCLA until it was time for the transplant and has followed up with me ever since. In recent years I've had a variety of doctors--GI, endocrinologist, nephrologist, family care, dermatology, etc. He is by far the best there is in his field, at least in Orange County. Just to give you one example of how thorough he is, he took the results of a biopsy I had obtained in Los Angeles and sent it to the Mayo Clinic to verify my liver situation just to make sure. It's true that for routine visits he schedules people closely together. However, he's more than willing to take extra time if you need it. Certainly he did that with me. When two of my many prescriptions from several doctors were causing a very bad side effect, he worked with me to figure out which two they were. UCLA declined that effort.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
