I like Dr. Duc (he is an affable guy) - BUT the gal answering the phones is HORRIBLE and RUDE I called, in tears, to change an appt I have "next week" (not a last minute request) due a VERY serious sad situation and I will not be here. I stated this and asked if I could please reschedule. I was told NO!!! because they have a policy. WHAT??? Final straw....but wait there is MOREPrior to this I had a biopsy for cancer and was told I would be notifed the next week....nothing...nothing.... so I finally called Friday to see if I could get a call from the doc. The gal answering the phones huffed and puffed and asked why I wanted to talk with him and I said, "Because I want to know if I have cancer!" Response...."huff...puff...if he is going to speak with you we will have to bump another person's appt...This is unreal and I would not beleive it if it had not happened to me. Her treatment of me has been nothing short of appalling!!!
HORRIBLE OFFICE! I was shocked and horrified when I called Dr Dos Office after being a patient for almost 20 yrs and tried to make an appointment. The rude Girl told me I was no longer a patient because I cancelled my last appointment. I explained I was happy to pay out of pocket for the appointment because my medications were overdue. She told me she did not care, I am not allowed to speak to or leave a message with the doctor or Arlene the longtime manager , that she was in charge and She has decided I was no longer a patient there. When i started to cry over losing my doctor after 20 years, she said I was not the first to cry, and do not call them again.I have since discovered that it is illegal and unethical to "dump patients" without notice or without giving referral to other doctors.I left a message on Dr. Dos voicemail on the after hour line and He never called me back. I intend to file patient dumping and patient neglect with this licensing board . I cant believe that Dr. Do either does not know / and or does not care how bad his patients are being treated.Do yourself a favor, find another Doctor, with a kinder staff who treats you with dignity and respect.
I have been a patient with Dr Do since February. Dr Dos front office staff is not helpful and honestly act as rude gatekeepers to keep you from getting a message to the doctor. Every time I went to pick up my prescription it has been delayed because the pharmacy can’t reach the office. In august I missed one appointment completely by accident while we were in the process of moving (we have a one year old and two year old so things were a little crazy) within a few days I received a letter stating that I was no longer a patient of Doctor Do. The fact that after one missed appointment and no warning i was dropped by my doctor who is supposed to be managing my thyroid (that I have had half removed due to cancer in February) is absolutely insane. Did I mention I am pregnant? After being dropped it stated in the letter my prescriptions would at least be renewed for one month while I found a new doctor, this was a lie. The office has hung up on me and ignored the pharmacy requests for refills. I am not one to write a one star review, but feel this is important information for anyone looking for a reliable endocrinologist, trust me this isn’t the place.
Worst office staff I've ever experienced. I was a 20 year patient and was dumped without knowledge for canceling one appt! The doctor and staff have changed. Arrogance, rudeness and iunprecedented lack of professionalism. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!
HORRIBLE FRONT OFFICE! NASTY FRONT DESK AND DOCTOR DUMPS PATIENTS WITH NO NOTICE. I was a patient almost 20 yrs until he hired a HORRIBLE new FRONT desk young girls who are rude, nasty and will not let you get even a message to the doctor. Do yourself a favor and go to a doctor who cares how his office treats you. He wouldn't even call me back to speak to him. Done!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The front desk staff and receptionist is EXTREMELY rude, horrible service, doesnt care about patients. I needed to see an endocrinologist asap and had a referral for him from my doctor but was told they wouldnt take any new patients unless they had HMO (I have very good PPO commercial insurance). Basically, they only care about you if theyre going to take more of your money.
I have been a patient of Dr. Dos for 16 years. He currently has undergone new staffing at the front desk and changed a couple of his policies. The front desk staff is extremely rude, wouldnt even state their names for months, when asked to leave a message for the doctor they state that they cant guarantee he will receive it. There is no answering machine so it sometimes takes me a couple of days to get the front office. My pharmacy was struggling reaching them and told me I would have to request for them to fax over a Perscription refill. They refused! I then had a scheduled appointment, which I needed to reschedule and had a family member in the hospital and needed to cancel. They said if you cancel, you will no longer be a patient of Dr. Dos. Since when is this ok? I received a letter stating how I was rude, unwilling to do my part and work with my pharmacy and on and on. I was shocked and he is no longer willing to serve as my healthcare provider! Wow! 16 years and just like that.. done! This should be unacceptable practice!
I have been a patient of his for 4 years. I called this morning to reschedule my appt since I wasnt able to get my labs done due to being ill (in addition to my three kids being sick). When I explained this the front office stated that theyd have two charge me a $30 dollar cancelation fee. Sure ok. I told her Id call back to reschedule, as I have been sick. She stated that I would no longer be a patient if i canceled. I asked her why this office was being so mean to the patient we have lives ... and things HAPPEN out of our control. I kept my appt for today and I will voice my opinion with the doctor. If things dont change I will change my endo.
Stay away from this doctors office. I was seeing Dr Do for about 78 years, several times a year without any issues. Then a year or two ago he changed his front office staff to the most rude people Ive encountered in a long time. During COVID I was hesitant to go for some routine tests before my routine visit, so I cancelled my appt and told the front office Id call back to reschedule. When two months later I called to reschedule they said they werent taking new patients. When I explained that Im not new, they stated that if I dont have an appointment on the books Im considered new. All I can say is thats the most horrendous customer service Ive ever experienced. I have gladly found a new specialist and I suggest you all save yourself the headache and do the same. Hes an okay doctor, but not worth putting up with this horrendous front office policies and rude staff. Onward!!
They have the weirdest office staff I have ever been to. I asian lady a the front desk must have something over the doctor. She is very controlling and possessive over the doctor. Something weird going on there. They will not let you reschedule an appointment. Do not waste your time with them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
